1) took mum's noah's ark and my fairtrade nativity set for the young church room - they will get far more use and love there than in our respective cupboards
2) coffee and cake back on at church yay - money in February going to eSwatini
3) ys lambs liver in Mr T, had for lunch, yummy, ages since I've had liver
4) got to Mennies early as Rangers game and rugby so wanted to make sure one of the tvs was showing the Leicester game - not sure why I bothered 🤣 well done Nottingham Forest, Dr M said 'well I enjoyed my pint'
5) after first half of the Boreham Wood game we caught the bus home - he complained he was cold as we waited, unheard of, wondered whether to offer to warm him up with a hug 🥰. watched CtM and first episode of Chloe then an early night - slept 9 hours 10 minutes, as my little nan would say, must have needed it!MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Had the Toad in the Hole last night for dinner, all done proper, with pork snorkers and yorkshire. Served with pan gravy, carrots and swede mash, and some leaks. Tasty! And wolfed down the last of the hand rubbed apple crumble with lumpy custard!
Then watched another flix, The Other Guys on the 4k box, and we has some wobbleades and cheeses! We get the smoked LieSter from the discount surplus store!
Up to see of the Albatross to her work, and food Kitty. Had the biscuit of weet in ice cold milk this morning and tee. Now sat with me mug of tea, and seeing Kitty!

And hurrah work is done. Oooft it was a day that went on forever. Was a very icy and slippy start to the day all gone now thankfully.Doggy walk was a tad treacherous. Had to de-ice car so just headed in to work as soon as it was done.
was all organised so I could nip home and take doggy out for a walk. Holy moly we’d went from icy to lashing with rain! Soaking!Back to work and a busy shift. Decent tips. More than yesterday and in the jam jar. May have to count the coins soon and take to the bank.
And hello doggy I know you’re bursting/starving and delighted to see me…we dealt with the bursting first, then food, then a cuddle. However alarm is already set for an early start! Sigh.

Evening all
Pleasures for yesterday
1. a lazy morning but did finally put the knobs on the kitchen cupboard doors properly - i only painted them and took the old ones off last November. At least i can now open them by the knob and not a screw
2. a quick walk to the sea - it was very lively and foamy
3. the journey home was not a pleasure - the pleasure was arriving
4. we had a takeaway curry and DD came round to join in.
5. my bed.
and today
1. a trip to next door town - it was a revelation. Loads of really nice shops and not one empty unit - unlike our town
2. Bought the chalk paint needed to repaint a wardrobe for DS
3. DS's room now painted, we have done two walls a greyish white and two are bright orange! I have repainted the wardrobe in a grey colour - i'll wax it tomorrow with a white wax.
4. DS and i went to order his new mattress that is coming on Thursday - just after the carpet has been laid.
5. A relaxing evening, I hope.I wanna be in the room where it happens11 -
1) a day in the deanery, nice change, estates manager notts forest, i let him have his glory
2) out of teabags, went to union shop, on paying was told 'oh they're half price'
3) lovely lunch, last of the lamb stew with pasta (did you know reheated pasta is 'resistant starch' which is apparently better for the GI)
4) really good meeting with colleague, we have come up with some excellent ideas, and she gave me a lift home
5) in time for a lovely walk with the boys in the light up balgay hooray for later evenings.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

night all 💤11 -
Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Lost 5lbs last week.
3) Hens OK.
4) Smaller son refused to go to college and his behaviour was enough to drive me to sit in Sainsburys cafe for an hour.
5) Tasty teas. HM beanburger for me with salad and jacket potato, tuna and sour cream sauce for smaller son.
6) Phoned my school friend.

1. Magnificent 64-0 victory on Saturday for Shingai's 200th! Of course he scored!🦚🏉😁. & declared Sir would not be permitted to leave pitch unti.😁
So happy were we all, then glorious all-ages afters💃🕺🍷🍾🍺and good times. Headline:
'10 try win for double centurion, Shingai Chiwanga. Shelford blow Norwich away in 64-0 wipe-out victory.'
We liked this!!!😁😇😀🤩😛
2. Raffle Harridan fundraising on autopilot, doped to eyeballs, as since - and now. Early a.m. precautionary PCR test meant jabbed+bleeding throat+repeat gag reflex. Dreadful man did it, dreadful experience. Still awaiting result. Fingers x'd. Taste+smell senses unaffected.
3. Finished 'Still Life', another Louise Penny 'Gamache' title. Starting Stella Rimington now. Def. nothing academic atm.
4. A sort of colcannon supper, all ingredients rtc bien sûr. Delicious with emporium ham chunks.
5. In bed all day, which & never does. Just need whatever it is gone. Happy repeat listening to John Mortimer on cases of Edward Marshall Hall, R4x

For Sunday.
1. Had brunch in London on the way to rugby. Good food at a reasonable price for London.
2. Watched rugby. Good catching up with people. The match was poor but for a few seasons it was like that all the time.
3. Stayed dry.
4. Went for a walk in central London - some window shopping.
5. Seeing snowdrops out along the side of the road.
For yesterday.
1. A couple of nice colleagues.
2. Some interesting patients and no unrealistic expectations.
3. Finishing work for the day- it felt good to leave.
4. Quick tea of soup and sandwiches.
5. Went to a fairly local horticultural society for the first time. It was interesting and I won some seed potatoes in the raffle.10
