Happycas - look after your back.
1. Slept fairly well.
2. Free lunch at work.
3. Boss left early- a major blessing as I nearly walked out of work at one point. Nothing major but the continual irritations.
4. Yes from freezer - it's starting to show a difference. I have space.
5. Reading my b12 -
Hope you feel better soon HappyCas.
For yesterday,
Had a rough night sleep wise so didn’t do as much as planned. Did clean my nemesis, the en-suite, and the upstairs windows, only inside mind.
Long chat with my bf, doesn’t look like we will manage a meet up until after the NY and who knows what will be happening then but we made plans anyway.
Made a loaf.
Snuggled down on the sofa to watch an old B&W film, the Hound of the Baskervilles, and woke up just as Basil Rathbone was tying up the case!
New recipe for tea, mushroom and chestnut pie with roasted veg, made mince pies with LO pastry.

Well looks like the two cans and string has worked wonders!
And a colouring book as well!
Hot Toddy makes you sleep
Station walk, dog walk.
The Hens are ok
Soup and a roll, and a free lunch
Mushroom and chest nut pie? No mushrooms belong on the fire!
Jen gives her buzz to the needy!
Ship's Cat Report!
Took the Albatross for her booster last night. No queue, in and out. All jabbed up here and no place to go!
Then had a pork pie sald for dinner and some oxtail soup as well!
Snoggled up on the sofa to watch the uni quiz and then some John Adams on the sky. Cheese was taken and some fruit juices! Different fruit juices this week, a mocktail!
IT has been a fuss pot since she reduced the pigeon populace. I have refused her treats this week, but she seems to be running it what was Raffles' bone yard! He used to take his kills into the bush! The Albatross is coping well!
Had a squirty poached egg and mushrooms for breakfast! All set for the day, now with mug of tea and some chocolate covered digestives! Other biscuits are available! Big Bash is on!
Keep Safe!I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!13 -

Ouch, ouch! Bad back here. Not sure why but, oh, it hurts!
So was awake most of the night 😥
But did see an excellent film. The Man who knew Infinity. About lots of clever people I'd never heard of before. Except Bertrand Russell. Even I had heard of him. Well worth a watch.
Hobbled off this morning to buy biscuits and chocolates for gifts. And for us! And got two lovely velvet cushions too.
And now resting my back and clock watching for it to be painkiller time again.
Happy Tuesday everyone
I saw that film. Very good.....

Nipped out to the surplus store yesterday as the free vouchers had arrived via the ether! £10 off for note! Got the Albatross her fire water and things! I got some tea and fiery fizzy waters! In total £26 off. Rule of the Admiral, better loose in my pocket than their greasy palms!
Bala we came home from the surplus store to see feathers everywhere in the yard! IT has taken lessons from her predecessor and removed a pigeon from the populace! She is off her food! Hence cats have three names!
Had pork pie and bits for dinner after some soup. Then a nice bowl of raspberries!
Watched another bit on the Netflux last night, Red Notice very good and recommended. The uni quiz is recorded! Fiery fizzy waters were taken and some decent cheeses consumed!

Hello. Not quite bedtime yet but hopefully an early night. Early alarm calls catching up…more of the same next few days.

Grrr!Round at mums. Then had to dash back as a chap was coming to pick something up.Then into town to GP for DD2 and then I went to l!dl as had a £10 off voucher.Home and hoovered and bathrooms cleaned.Chat to sister on phone.13 -
Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Bigger son and his girlfriend popped in this morning.
4) I popped in to town for milk and bread and had a walk round looking at the Christmas lights in people's windows.
5) Tasty tea of salmon fillets with broccoli and (to use them up) hash browns.
6) My brother came round for a cup of tea.
7) In bed now watching television.
8) Smaller son chose chocolates for his key workers the other day (his request - and a first) and today said, "Maybe they'll open them and it will brighten their day".13 -
