Good afternoon
Oh wow Sue. That's excellent news.
DfV - Lovely post. Glad you found the rings, but oh.....
Overnight visit to the caravan to make sure it's set up properly for DDiL and DGC to go to next week. Managed a lovely evening stroll along the front. Not many people but lots of sea.
DGD first birthday. Low key birthday tea and chance to catch up with the other grandma and grandad. DGD's favourite word ( only word I think) is Peppa! As of pig!
And now I've been pinged!! Don't know when or where but I have to isolate for 6 days! Oh well, there's nothing much happening here anyway!
Happy teatime everyone9 -
Hello.Day four done , three to go.Busy day. And cut my finger rather badly instead of a baguette so had to sit on floor before I collapsed on floor.Been a hot day here ( by Scottish standards but pleasantly a bit cooler now and quite cloudy.DD2 literally about to walk in the door and disturb the peace. She’s not happy. She’s in…
More tips in the charity jam jar.Friend home her holidays so looking forward to a huuuge chat later…need to listen to DD2 first!Sue I’m glad you got your forms. I hated all the form filling and the waiting. But you are doing so well, you really are, you’re up and out every day with your friends. Take care x
Happycas I had to isolate the other week. We’ve had a few cancelled orders as people are isolating, it seems to be more prevalent just now yet we are dropping restrictions. Hmmmm. I’ll just stay back from folk for now!11 -
Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Sold an Ebay item that was collected by a man who came from the same village as my grandma. Grandma had a French surname and a ridiculously large family (more than 100 cousins) so I mentioned this to Ebay man and he knew 3 people with that surname and his wife used to work with a fourth! The man also did the same job that my dad did (similar age) but hadn't met him.
4) Third house in our row of 6 has sold. I am paying my mortgage off as fast as possible as I don't particularly want to live here either, once the new houses have been built.
5) Popped to Sainburys and to pick up my sister's birthday present.

dfv Woozle walk is indeed Milne inspired
right so 10(!) teams meetings today.none of my mse pleasures work related!!!!
1) the joy of one meeting finishing 10 mins early so grabbing a cornetto from the freezer to eat in glorious sunshine
2) after last meeting walking the dogs in the sunshine and getting home to find dd2 had cooked supper - lovely surprise
3) mr g had said he’d book a table at 8 but no football so wasn’t sure if he’d turn up cos it was such a glorious day (mr g is retired and loves hill walking) so sat with my pint and book and such a pleasure
4) had worn stunning new long green dress from ds2 - barmaid said how lovely I looked (for new readers my marriage ended very badly nearly 9 years ago leaving me with a self -confidence level of zero)
5) then mr g and dr m arrived and we had a super evening. Mr g has us booked in for 8 on Saturday and I think dr m was genuinely pleased to see me. Quite right too cos I am a lovely person 😜

1. Picked 2 more courgettes after late watering tonight. But another has been munched🤬, so it's & 7-slugs'n'snails 2, so far.
2. A somewhat So What! day again, but had some marvellous research results on a number of 50p-ish recent acquisitions - especially a Bengt Edenfalk 1960 hefty crystal slab vase, heavily cut to his Sunburst design, signed and numbered, minutely engraved on base. No sun until 14.47h and cold with it. A Woollen Layer was worn☹.
3. Stopped working, sat reading and enjoyed apple when sun came out.
4. Some wonderful news. Prayed for person has been fully roused from coma today. Further, 'small miracle' declared for his standing briefly with physiotherapists' team help - first time in over a fortnight. Heard this as dusk settled and circling swifts were replaced by darting bats. A magic moment.
5......then capped by this new visitor! Popped in for silflay graze😃.
If I can attach the 33secs of film, I will.

Ampersand, that is wonderful news and prayers answered.
1 A second hand book I have been waiting to come up at a reasonable price has I very quickly ordered it tonight.
2 More healthy cooking feeling good on it, but tonight is mainly leftovers mixed cabbage and spring onions with mash and a kiev, and just re meal planned throu till Friday.
3 We spent the morning in the garden, DH pottered while I planted out 4 ferns and 2 plants, then I got up the ladder to de forest the back wall. The ferrets had a blast helping us with all of it.
4 A little bit of exercise achieved.
5 I went to mow the lawns but it was still too wet, ahh shame, still it rolls over to tomorrows list, but I get away with it today so definitely a pleasure not doing it.

Hurrah for good news on prayer’d for person &.
For yesterday,
Small dog’s look of complete martyrdom as she presents me with her paw so I can clip her claws, priceless.
Did some lateral groundwork with girlie, shoulder-in etc.
Spent an hour or so with matched person having a cuppa and a catch up.
Made an egg & bacon pie for tea and we had it with green veg.
Lovely evening walk, very warm in late sunshine.10 -
