goodness I'm tired, having one's ex to stay is exhausting - right now i need a big uncomplicated hug - I miss mrpiano 😥
1) ex changed the light bulb before leaving so that was good (the kitchen ceiling is high and it's a pesky fitting)
2) made tomato and basil soup for lunch - recipe 26 of my seasonal soup weekly recipes
3) walked dd2 to town with the boys then the boys. We I walked back through the park and I saw a seal swimming in the silvery tay
4) asparagus risotto for tea, and enough for tomorrow
5) and a long phone convo with gbf - he would have come given me a hug but he had the windows painted so can't shut them, and I don't have a car so a phone hug had to suffice.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

DD- a virtual hug.
1. Work ok and last day at main place of work for almost 2 weeks. Working today but elsewhere.
2. Hearing a toddler laugh when his Mum was tickling his hand. Such a joyful sound.
3. Seeing both ducks in the garden in the evening. Before work I had only seen the male duck and was worried as they are normally within a couple of metres of each other.
4. Shower properly cleaned - the pleasure is it looks very good.
5. Finished my book.I'd enjoyed it.13 -

My DB sent me a photo of new great nephew who is now home.
Text conversation with two friends and we have arranged to meet up for lunch next week.
Capt S had set the trail cam to video and we spent an enjoyable half hour or so watching the various antics of the birds.
Last mooch around the garden before bed and a blackbird was singing its heart out from the shed roof.

Hello.A day of no work! Hurrah! Though alarm is set for early o’clock tomorrow.
Been a glorious day here.A few errands to do this morning including pick up meds at vets…the dog does love a flea & worming treatment! What a treat! The mothers to do bits and bobs.
Have set myself a walking challenge of 520000 steps in July to raise funds for OH oncologist research ( do a fundraiser each year) so did 17702 recorded steps today…I may have forgotten to charge my watch! Note to self don’t do that again! Final walk was over the fields just now with a doggy, a daughter and a glorious setting sun.Started another book (finished other one this morning ) but I’ve read it before though can’t remember exactly what happens so shall persevere. It’s easy enough reading.Spent time out in garden, reading, doing work emails and just enjoying the birds singing and bees buzzing.10 -
Hello everyone
I’ve had a frustrating couple of days with phone problems, mobile and home, car problems, potential problems with new bathroom, diy problems, so let’s find some pleasures:
The bathroom has been stripped out of tiles, airing cupboard, flooring etc but they have left us with a working loo, basin and bath and will carry on next week while we are on holiday.
A couple of de-stressing dips in the hot tub.
Some warmer weather and a little sunshine ☀️
Garden pots are blooming, beautiful lilies, fuchsias, poppies etc and the jasmine is in flower and I get lovely wafts of perfume from it.
Some solutions to the above problems.
We’re going on holiday on Saturday 😊, a week in beautiful Suffolk 😊😊
Night all 💤
