1. Met a friend for coffee. We had a good time and shared a bit of cake.
2. Brought some succulents for a lot and some very cheap bedding plants.
3. Watched rugby on tv. What a comeback - very nerve wracking. It was a great match to watch though.
4. Out with friends for a meal and with a voucher was a very cheap meal and lovely to see them and enjoy ourseo.
5. Text messages with my Dad.10 -
For yesterday.
Nice lie-in followed by boiled egg and marmite soldiers. Then prepared and popped the pork shoulder in slow cooker ahead of Sunday’s meal.
Over to see girlie, bit of long-reining in the school, at this rate I may well be driving her when I get too old & creaky to ride!
Home and DSS had been round with some flowers to say thanks for washing a smelly set of cricket whites.
Out to horsey town, emporium worryingly empty of many things, & provided the answer later, pleasure is in having a well stocked larder. Home and made the dessert, a meringue gelato.
Small dog disappeared around 8ish and she was in kitchen sniffing the air as if to say it must be done by now Mum, promised her a taste today.

Good afternoon.
Ampersand - how frustrating! And for all of us too who now feel deprived of your entertaining posts. I hope you can try again from somewhere with better connections.
DGD came this morning. Ostensibly for help with French homework but I think really to have a bit of time alone with us two. We made oatie biscuits as well so I think she enjoyed herself.
Just had a chuckle. One elderly neighbour had told another neighbour that every Monday my friend and I go to judo! The thought of our over 60s yoga group engaging in judo has kept me giggling all afternoon.all
Funny weather. Still and maybe muggy but not cold. Very grey skies.
Right! Time for another coffee and a delicious homemade biscuit.
Happy Sunday everyone

Quiet day again but feel more like normal.Heavy rain to start the day so that meant the garden got a good soak.Watched some schmaltzy movies. We are having takeaway for dinner. DD2 picking up on her way home from work.
Phone call to boyo...who may have fainted getting his vaccine! His fathers son right enough!9 -
Weekend pleasures:
Friday night takeaway was curry 😋
Chose and ordered the bathroom wall tiles and flooring, just the door to sort now, phew!
Watched Queen’s Club tennis, good to see a Brit through to the final even though he didn’t win, much more entertaining than the football ☹️
Walk in the drizzle this morning round local lake, friend came with me and helped foraged elderflowers.
Came home and made the elderflower champagne which is hopefully fermenting away ready for straining and bottling tomorrow evening 🍾
Saw lots of geese on our walk and still some baby goslings and cute cooties 😊. They make me smile.
Pork with apples and leeks for dinner 😋
night all 💤10 -

5) Watched the Wales match.
6) Seemed to be cooking all day! Including flapjacks and broccoli cheese for tea.
7) Watched Days of Bagnold Summer
Here is smaller son (considerably taller than me and bigger son) making my kitchen look tiny and as though I have a miniature oven.

1. Old curtains taken to clothing bank. They are out of the way now.
2. Both sons came over for lunch. Roast lamb was enjoyed. All had a good catch up.
3. Spent some time in the garden.
4. A rose picked and now in a vase. It won't last long but is beautiful.
5. Early night as feeling very tired at the moment.9
