5 OS pleasures in your day today - part 3

1. Walked the last bit into work to get some exercise. Walked past front of the hospital - I normally ever see the back of it and saw some wild flower areas which looked lovely. There was a little girl being very careful not to tread on any flowers but smelling them all.
2. A lady walking her dog past the house stopped me to ask about the house opposite. There is a construction site notice outside and she was concerned that the house is being demo!ished. I don't think so but is in a terrible state of repair.g
3. Seeing a slow worm in the garden.
4. Lovely evening sitting out in the garden.
5. Chicken bake for tea.

Loving all the pleasures - thanks all.
Mine for yesterday - a day of much pottering
1. Did the final piece of outstanding marking - until more arrives today... 🙄
2. read some of my book and watched some TV
3. Did a yoga session and a walk by the sea
4. SOrted the garden - a little weeding and planted up the pots and new beds
5. Cycled to next village for tea in the pub with friends. Had liver and onions - yummy. Didn't get wet despite the drizzle and cycled back in the half light.
Leaving ICT today and going back to the chaos of the renovations! have a good day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens11 -
Crikey Frith, at that rate you will meet yourself coming back!
Thinking of Bala.
For yesterday,
A baby sparrow being fed under the hedge.
Morning at the yard, already very warm so just a little in-hand work with my girlie.
Met my best friend at equidistant point between our homes and spent a smashing few hours having a good catch, laughed so hard my cheeks were aching on the way home. Oh, and there was cake ☺️Three bits sold on EBay.
Made some houmous and had that for tea in a wrap with homegrown rocket.10 -
1) A decent night's sleep so have my 'ping' back this morning.
2) A nice walk in the afternoon yesterday around the lake in the shade under the trees where it was comfortable.
3) Pasta for supper but with green beans, garlic, butter, olives and grated cheese rather than a runny sauce, was very nice.
4) Garden veg growing on nicely, the grape vine is doing particularly well this year thanks to regular watering and it's looking green, verdant and is covered with little bunches of grapes. Is also very pretty against the white painted fence.
5) Contemplating going out for lunch today, GP daughter says as we're both fully vaccinated we're OK to go to one of the garden centres, it's been a while!9 -

5 Loving the light evenings, I have read in the garden and started a little bit more de cluttering.
