Try and type quickly before battery runs out.Up early. Ooooft! It was a struggle this morning. heading to bed soon.Went over the border of next council area...because we now can! And they have primark and a beach so did both. Popped into a charity shop on way to beach and got a pair of cropped jeans, a denim blousey top and a necklace. Was rather cold at the beach but I do like to see the sea.Home and had a snoozette.
The niecelys popped by ( was supposed be family tea next Friday not today!) but nice to see them.
it’s now raining which is much needed by the gardens. Saves me watering everything!12 -

well hello all you lovely people. i cannot believe it is over a month since i last visited. sorry if i worried you adn thanks & for reaching out (and for the other lovely pms). i am truly blessed by this group. i've been down for no good reason and then felt bad for being down for no good reason and got myself in a pickle for how i'd 'come back'. thank you for your lovely thoughts, this is of course the safest place i could have said i was down for no good reason. and yet.... i am the one who is always cheerful, always there for others going through a tough time at work. m'eh. I'm still not back to happy but realising i do need to reach out, so have chatted to dd2. lock down 3 and I am struggling with feeling sorry for myself and wanting somehow not to feel sorry for myself :-( I have however enjoyed catching up on tv. eagerly awaiting last episode of line of duty, still reeling from last episode of keeping faith, now catchin gup on unforgotten (was it you vjsmum mentioned spooks? another one for me to catch up on)
so sorry to read your news suffolksue sending lots of hugs and love.
so 5 good things ...
1) i had my haircut - how wonderful that was - and have now dyed it red
2) my local reopened Monday (though no footie till they can serve alcohol again ,hopefully 17th May
3) i met dd2 for lunch in town (scotland reopened monday but for me this was the first time - weird)
4) walking home met friend i haven't seen for a few weeks, and even then could only talk in the street - we went to a cafe for a cuppa and a good old natter
5) pie and chips for supper - i am working my way through the local chippie menu, a new item plus chips every Friday. so far best has been the spicy haggis, not sure i'd do the deep friend pizza again rofl
oh and up to week 5 of c25k

SuffolkSue - crossing the road over to you to give you a hug.DundeeDoll - welcome back! At least you had good reasons.Me? Not so much. I mean, really, how challenging can a job application be? (Says she who hasn’t done one & meant it in decades) and yet, dear gods. With colleagues’ support & family derision (well, I did do several nights til gone nine) - anyway it’s done.
OS pleasures then? Um, no, I need to edit the file first. Back soon though I promise!13 -
Thinking of Sue😘
Nice to see you back DD😊
Recent pleasures:
Second jab done at hospital on Wednesday, all ok just very tired that afternoon and tired yesterday.
OH had to take me so afterwards we looked around a bathroom shop to get some ideas and then went to a big supermarket for my first proper shop since first lockdown! We had Friday takeaway on Wednesday instead as I was too tired to cook.
Met my sister on Thursday to show her where the swans and cooties are.
We had a bacon roll in the chilly sun shine by the river.
I then showed her where the garden centres are and she bought me a belated birthday present. It is a snowy owl wind chime and it has given me so much pleasure tonight as I didn’t realise it was a solar light as well and I’ve taken a short video of it changing colour and you can hear the birds tweeting in the background!
Fairly lazy day today as I still felt a little tired, but managed to make soup, get 2 lots of washing dried and put away and rustle up a quick dinner.
night all 💤13 -
Thinking of you Sue.
1-5 For yesterday, we went to look at the place we are interested in and around the area. Oh my life we didn’t know what to expect but we had such a strong reaction to it, we relaxed it was like our souls were just happy. The little place is not as bad as we first thought, and for us it would be living our dream for as long as we could further into old age.
It’s a case of bidding on it and our budget is not flexible so we can bid on the worth, but if it does turn to a bidding war then it wasn’t meant to be. It does feel like we have been led to it so it’s a case of waiting now, if we get it. It’s meant to be, and if we don’t get it, its also meant to be. So here goes.
1 There are all sorts of emotions going on here.
2 I accidentally left out some great quality ham we were gifted at Christmas so needed to use it up so it’s ham, pickles, boiled duck eggs on salad, and mini aunt Bessie roasties tea.
3 Paid the water bill a weird pleasure but always nice not to be in debt, a pleasure from experience that can never be over stated.
4 Caught up with DB an hour chatting.

DfV, you are preaching to the converted on job applications, I'm not having a great time with them either and thought I was savvy...
