Hooman Watch Alert .......
Put some meaty stuff out for my foxes around dusk and kept an eye on my old wooden rickety table. One lone crow, the blackest I have ever seen. It took me a while to work out why he was so black and then I cast my mind to my Flo & Co family and remembered how I used to marvel at the sheen on their feathers. This one seemed completely matt and not because of the light.
My flock, that kept me company last year have not returned.

Still sending all good wishes and strength to Sue. Agree with whoever said that your husband was not / is not the only brave one.
Thanks for the anniversary wishes and thoughts
Pleasures for Wednesday
1. A good long walk in the hills - the first for many many months. We had ALL the weather - hail, rain, wind and sun. Ah it must be April! 11 miles walked all told
2. Home made lemon drizzle as our reward towards the end - made up for a disappointing sandwich (sounds like a band name) at lunchtime.
3. OH went to evensong at Ripon Cathedral - I did a (rather gentle) yoga session
4. Delicious meatballs for tea from the posh supermarket ready meal selection that they make in store.
5. watched yet another film - this one was about Roald Dahl
And yesterday
1. Spent the day at Fountains abbey courtesy of our NT membership
2. Again ALL the weather but we still managed to walk 7 miles around the grounds - saw some deer
3. Another posh ready meal - this one was chicken in honey and mustard sauce. it was restaurant quality
4. Another film - set in Turkey and was beautifully shot ("The Water Diviner").
5. Banked.
Today we leave here but are headed to ICT so our holiday continues!
Have a lovely day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens13 -

1. The blossom on my crab apple tree. A really dark pink.
2. Phoned a friend. Had a long chat.
3. DS1 called in for his post again!!
4. Used some chilli oil for the first time. Surprised at how hot it was.
5. Reading my book.11 -
For yesterday,
Felt rough all day, side effects from second jab.
Snoozed most of my time away on sofa with small dog for company, she was delighted that her human was acting more dog and staying in her basket ☺️Read my book, still wading through and thoroughly enjoying the AMcS series set in Edinburgh.
Group chat with friends, we are arranging a picnic by the river.
Will bank #5.12 -
So very sorry Sue.9
