Hello. And the big worky days are done and I do believe I have ( at the moment) 2 mornings with no alarm needed...do you hear that H Dog? Don’t wake me up!Started at 8am this morning there for I did not need a doggy to tell me it was time to get up! Felt like I was driving in rush hour...I had to wait to get on to the roundabout! Not much traffic around at 4.40am!This was our first day of reopening to the public but I think they were all shopping! Not busy but passed quite quickly. So not the tips I’d only dreamt of...but a couple of pounds is better than nothing! Ended up buying a birthday card with them!Had a nice cake at work mid afternoon.Drove home in rain. So don’t need to water the plants but it’s brightening up again.10

1. Text messages with a friend.
2. Work was got through.
3. Had a phone call with someone about eyes. She has been wanting to speak to me since DH saw her last week. I had been phoning and leaving messages.
4. Saw the moon - it was large but I had thought it was meant to be orange but it wasn't.
5. Started sorting out DS1 birthday present.11 -
Amp, the photos bring delight. Wonder what the asparagus were all looking at......

Good morning - though a bit grey here.
S Sue - still thinking of you and wishing I could do, or at least, say, something helpful.
Ampersand - Lovely pix again. thank you
I share everyone's concern about missing friends. I do hope everyone is as ok as possible.
Went to the supermarket yesterday. Either prices are edging up or we're not paying enough attention. Must try harder!
Then went to our nearby outlet mall. Only queues were at Next so we didn't bother with that. Marks had lots of winter clothes, mainly size 10 or 22! I did find a nice heavy cream sweater in my size for £12 though so snaffled it quickly.
We also had coffee and cake sitting on a bench outside. Felt nearly normal.
Gave in and watched the last episode of Keeping Faith last night. I will miss her ( though I didn't like her new coat as much. I'm glad she was wearing her yellow one in the final scene!) It's been a good series.
Up to date with LoD. No spoilers but loved ' the wee donkey'.
Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope it brightens up, in every way, for us all.

Yeah............Watchit Happycas !
Am saving the whole series so that one Sunday, when I feel I have worked hard ALL week, I can binge watch. Easier for my very poor memory.
delicious day wished to all....

Yes, absent friends are very much missed.
Snap on bronze fennel Amp.
For yesterday,
Busy start, to horsey town for food shopping, then home to make bread and cake for Capt S’s birthday which is today, he chose cupcakes rather than one big one so I did dark chocolate with lemon icing. Turned out ok
House smelt lush due to the above and beloved came down from his office to wash up aka sneak a taste from bowl.
More chores, horse chaff and carrots then over to see the beautiful grey one.
Easy tea of all day veggie breakfast, eggs baked on a bed of potato rosti, mushrooms, toms and spinach.
The beautiful full moon, peeking out from behind the beech trees, too good to ignore so late night wander around garden in pjs, crystals left out to charge up in its glow.

In little hope, & dropped this nomb pm to dd earlier:
'A number of us are noting 'absent mse friends', from osps in particular, dd.
You definitely come into this category, so - very nomb - I send concern and hopeful good wishes to you and your family.
All blessings - and they're from all of us, I know.
- ampersand.'
- and, now out at Red Lodge dental surgery, being someone's transport, find this in reply:
'Thank you for your concern. I do seem to be struggling rather with lockdown 3 and post-divorce blues (I know silly of me, it's been 7 years since we split up). I do wonder if the two are related and also some nerves about unlockdown - how crazy is that? And of course osp is exactly where I should have posted this but with others having far far worse times of it than me I could never find the words. ho hum. please say hello to all, DundeeDoll is safe (as is Luton but sadly not BOP's Grimsby) and I will return soon. With very much love to all, especially yourself and those of you who have seen me through the last 7 years. I'm happy for you to post any or all of this message as you see fit xxxxx'

Had to paste in 2 stages.
Glad to see you again, dd.🙏

Hello. Well no alarm clock set this morning though did wake up early. Watched an amazing sunrise. So shiny against the grey of the clouds. But the joy was in the not actually having to be up and at ‘em. Same again tomorrow. I hope ( just sent a text just in case!)
Nice chat with friend from the comfort of my bed this morning. I’d zonked before we could chat last night.
Took girls out for breakfast!
Nice doggy walk. Then had to take mum to hospital appointment but didn’t have too long to wait. Dropped her off then picked her back up 2 hours later for another appointment which overran but it meant we could go round the charity shops! Oh the joys, got a new Cath Kidston rucksack. A mustardy coloured linen top, 2 pairs of denim shorts, a jumpsuit thingy and DD1 bought me a book I should read. She also bought me a lovely bunch of flowers from my favourite florist. How nice to actually be able to go into a shop of your own choice and felt absolutely safe in each one.Quick nip into M&S after ascertaining that the mother was running way behind. Got a few things RTC so just had a huge bowl of leftover from work salad and a selection of different coleslaws/potato salads. Very yummy. And took all of 2 minutes to make!Driving mum home I headed my way on the roundabout....where are we going? Twice round that’s where! It’s been a cold and windy mainly dry odd spitty shower kind of day. Optimistically hung out washing for the dry windy part!Have a nice evening.10
