Happy Birthday Haggis.
Best of Luck Frith.
1 Another day has passed, I visited DF after work, and I took up a large print book, his favourite drink of beetroot juice not the other favourite drink of malt whisky, and bananas and sat and read to him. I left him sedated and with the radio on, he’s got a window view to the sky which is nice.
2 Home, and dinner is a hm lasagne from my batch cooking with beans, though I must say I am tempted by bargain shopping, I ran in v quickly on way to hosp Sunday and their reductions looked amazing, but I didn’t have time.pfft.
3 I have been losing myself in reading a few chapters of a Terry Prachett book.
4 All the month end bills have been paid, an mse pleasure.
I’ll back the 5th0 -

Lulled into a false sense of security there for a minute. Have now got a lift to and from dentists. It seems no one can quite bring themselves to help after that. So a lovely day of trying to cope half anaesthetised awaits, with a smaller son who will have several meltdowns because I am behaving differently from normal. I am annoyed with myself for thinking it would be any different.
Anyway, pleasures for today:
1) A lie in after a rubbish sleep.
2) Hens well.
3) Omelette for breakfast.
4) Had eye brows and beard threaded in the dentist's honour - wouldn't want to startle her!
5) Quite shop in Sainsburys.
6) Pizzas for tea.
7) Cleaned the turtles out.
8) Plasterer came for his money so glad he appeared before I am incapacitated.
9) About to watch University Challenge and listen to I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.0 -
(((frith)))
1) saying Siri I see a little silhouette of a man
2) avoiding the showers (thunderbolt and lightening very very frightening promised tomorrow)
3) finding 25p on the stairs (hopefully not from a poor man from a poor family)
4) free coffee from union cafe With collected stamps
5) ex colleague in Dundee for the day. Went to dca for lovely meal, joined by PhD student, another ex colleague who now works for Abertay (the other Dundee uni) and her 9 year old. Super to catch up.MrsSD declutter medals 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐0 -
bop - that's a good site[war records] and true lyrics Thankyou.
Just as & left enzed last year, met oldest schoolfriend, male+current wife, in biblical downpour, Auckland Museum. We are a curious triangle. He was smitten throughout Primary+beyond years with &'s oldest schoolfriend, female and our 3-way closeness continues.

Join the happy band, pk.
How the trumpies and that ex-thing would hate to think of dahlink, much-missed Freddie Mercury/Queen as source. That really pleases me.

do Some for yesterday
Frith - thinking of you. Hope goes well.
1. Long chat with DS1.
2. Good day at work. Back not too bad after the day.
A colleague has settled into her new flat and is happier than she has been for a while which is good.
3. DS2 cooked stir get for tea which was delicous and meant we are at a reasonable time as I started cooking the gammon slightly late and so this evening's tea ready.
4. Moved a couple of plants in the garden to fit in with the colour scheme.
5. Warm enough to sit in the garden reading my kindle.0
