Please can I ask for help?  When looking at 'my' page today, I clicked on 'Inbox'. There was a msg there from October! So my question is:-

How do you know you have a message? Is it flagged up somewhere, or do I need to keep checking my profile page?

And:- if I reply in the box below the msg, does it go just to that person?

And to the person who sent the message ( there's only one so you know who you are! ) Sorry.  I'm not rude, just technologically inept.😂

Happycas have sent you a message...........have a look at the little envelop in the top right hand corner of this page.  It's next to the bell.  Should have some kind of sign that you have received a message.

your move sounds so exciting.  My menagerie has kept me sane this year especially my Flo (mother crow).  She started the whole journey one morning when I walked in the kitchen and she was helping herself to Tiggy's kibble.  Instead of flying off in a panic she just moved to outside the back door............and history was made.

Fingers crossed that everything runs smoothly for you.

Thank you Bala.   Think I know what to do now.   Only been posting for a year!

DD is home. She is ok, but tired.   Endometriosis is evil enough, but even worse when it damages other organs.  She has a sick note for four weeks, but her partner is working from home next week so will be able to look after her. Possibly the only good thing to come from covid!

So I can settle down again, and get back to my usual unexciting life.   Some excitements I can do without.

Happycas, I have endo - well I'm old now, but it was active when we were trying for a baby. Miscarriage number two was even more traumatic as the doctor kept telling me it was an ectopic pregnancy when it was the endo adhesions that had caused the ultrasound to look wrong. It's horrible and the pain is awful. I'm sending your DD some cyberhugs. I'd never want to go through all that again.

Pleasures for today (Friday)

1) not a bad sleep.

2) smaller son refused to do his Zoom lesson, which was not unexpected as he can’t use a phone. Friendly emails from his college trying to find a way round it. He has said he will go back there starting Monday. 

3) blood sugar diet continues. Salmon and broccoli for tea. 

4) hens ok

5) went to shout at my parents from their driveway! They’re ok. Hopefully their vaccination is generating whatever it makes. 

6) lots of tv watching this evening.

more snow today. We’ve not been able to get rid of it for a week.

Yesterday
1. Posh soup and sandwiches for lunch.
2. Another admin job brings official retirement closer.
3. Sorted through eBay pile to start listing.
4. Sorted through the sewing pile to start sewing.
5. DS2 lingered after dinner to chat. He goes back on Sunday. ☹️
