Pleasures yesterday.
Awoke to see snow falling, such a pretty white winter wonderland out there.
Walk in park with dog, she loves racing around in snow. The sheer delight when she found a big stick, it was more like a small branch. She loves playing with a sticky thing.
After snow coffee especially good, just the right shade of bitter and aromatic. Tesco espresso beans.
Sainsburys delivery, I so love having fully-stocked cupboards, fridge and freezer.
Two loads of washing done and dried. I had to do it, the laundry bin was looking at me in a threatening sort of way. Trouble is, I now have an ironing mountain.
Lunch was a simple scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with cheesecake to follow.
I made a start in taking down the Christmas decorations, intending to spread the task over two days, but ended up taking them all down and putting them away. Polished and vacuumed everywhere, made some minor changes to ornaments and furniture placement. Our living room has an air of Zen-like calm and order now.
Watching Rachel Khoo On Food Network channel and drooling over Turkish coffee mousse topped with chocolate, and lemon cake with molten lemon filling inspired by the Amalfi coast. I will be more adventurous with cooking this year. One life - your life - live it!15 -

Got the bits inn now to tart up BoP Palais, new bog role holder, we has free bogs in the Palais. Towel holder. Replacement hose and head for BoP's shower. Other bits as well!
Had mes golden flakes of sun cure corn this morning inn iced cold milk, with apple juice. Hot toasted crumpet with marmite and a mug of tea. Proper start too the day!
Now watching the cricket, bashed of the big is over, so the SA test! Mug of tea with proper choklate covered digestive. Good for yous! That is what is good as the w8r5 gives mes the paper for note, and I has the voucher. Peenies save inn the pocket of BoP! Then gots the rest from the A1D!
That is all, not watching the soccer, carp!
Keep SafeWell, how well that described our life!

Good afternoon
Thank you for all the pictures everyone, even the sprouts ( I like sprouts!), and for the music, DD
Hugs to DfV and S Sue
Bala - you sound like a woman on a mission! You go,girl!
Have now taken down the tree and vacuumed up all the needles.Always feels sad. Has also made me realise that our room is very bland. Shades of cream, beige ,fawn. The colour scheme lacks any colour. So that's something to bear in mind when shopping ( which we are still allowed to do, but don't do very often).
Rice pud in the slow cooker to use up more of the nearly out of date milk. It's the weather for comfort food.
Want to start a new knitting/sewing project but nothing inspires me. Even Pinterest doesn't seem to have anything new to offer. Never mind, something will come along. I'm just not very good at doing nothing!
Happy 🌞Sunday everyone

Prob. no help, given système, Code Civil Dalloz etc. but makes everyone feel good.

Good morning. Still early but back to work beckons. So I’m a just up an hour before the alarm clock says so.For Sunday
Early morning doggy walk...oh hello fox strolling nonchalantly further up the main drive ...I’m assuming having just came through the fields.DD1 and I dropped off four bags of clothes in charity bin. Everyone had had a clear out .
Then we went a walk through our very icy and very slippy woodland. DD1 slipped and fell but kind of rolled as she went down. Once I’d ascertained she was okay I took a photo! We took our little bauble off OH tree. It was absolutely stunning in all the wintery beauty but so, so cold!Home and DD1 was all packed to go back to work. Flights were on time and she text when she was home.
A couple of little doggy walks , walking on the crunchy grass rather than the slippy pavement.
Had the fire on.
Had chicken Kiev and peas and sprouts ( whaddya mean proper food PP? They’re full of goodness! )And an I will get through these blooming baked potatoes out the freezer! Nice meal with just DD2 and myself. Back to normal.
Then boss popped down with keys and then a lovely chat with friend on phone and then bed.I am now back in control of my days of the week! It’s Monday! Hurrah...none of this what day is it? Have a lovely day.15 -

For yesterday,
Our resident wild rabbit sitting in optimum position by the shed for first rays of rising sun, he stayed there for over an hour.
We also took down festive decs, everything packed away for another year. Put out a couple of extra candles as miss the twinkly lights.
Long walk and home just as sun was setting, little later every day.
Cup of tea with hot, buttered crumpets.
The silly fun of GBBO New Year programme.15 -
