Happy New year. Another one here grateful for all the support given to each other.
Suffolksue and dfv thinking of you both.

1. A cold, crisp day and the garden looked lovely. The frost stayed all day.. It makes plants look different.
2. Watched Death on the Nile. Felt like taking it easy.
3. Sorted out the freezer and listed the food in there. I know what I have now to meal plan.
4. Chat with both sons at different times which was lovely.
5. Quiet evening in with DH we watched best 80's songs. Managed a couple of glasses of wine.

Last day 2021.....
1. Messages from friends.
2. Chilli, quiz, Cluedo, and cocktails.
3. Our little family together for New Year. In recent years, DS1 and DD have Been working or abroad, so it was lovely to have them all together.
4. Jooles Holland's Hootanany......who would have thought he would have become a National Treasure? 🤣
5. Fireworks at Midnight were better than the organised bonfire displays in the park! Our surrounding neighbours must have spent £1000's........The dogs were very laid back, but we think it is because they are ex racing greyhounds, and are used to the starting pistol.

Right, no more fireworks, that 2020 has gone! Good riddance!

Had snorker and best back, with mushrooms and poached egg on toast for brekfest! Start as wes means too go on!

Just watched the bash of big. Is rain inn down under! Saying that, we had wet snow this morn, butt all gone! Cannot even get a snowball inn!

Well that has kick started the year then, Keep Safe!

Good afternoon

A quiet NYE, in our house anyway.  Very noisy fireworks at midnight woke me up, but I do understand why people wanted to mark the occasion in some way

Bubble friend was going to come for coffee, but she is feeling off colour, so just the two of us as per.

DS birthday today so are going round later to drop off card and present and say a brief hello. Quite bright at the moment, so not too bad for standing on a doorstep.

Enjoyed Sewing Bee.   Very impressed by the winning panto outfit!   So imaginative.

I was going to say that Bala.
 also thinking of Dig and family today ,
on Monday it will be 10yrs since my daughter died ,seems like yesterday and ages ago at the same time 
The weekend before Christmas DH turned a v pretty shade of yellow ,visit by GP who thought probably advanced liver or Pancreatic cancer ..Nothing to do with MSA and nothing to  be done .
The pleasure / gratitude is he has no pain and it will probably be a kinder ,gentler end  than  MSA .
Last weekend the jaundice cleared ,so very puzzled medical profession!
Today it is back ,he was pretty unresponsive this morning and didn’t want to be got up. now he has perked up and tv watching in bed in between sleeping.
I may not be posting much but will be reading ,thank you all so much for your thoughts.
