I had a slight wobble over doing no/low spend use up things January thinking of possible supply problems but we really do have plenty.
Thinking of you DforV
1 Tried to opt for lighter food today, dinner was ham from DB’s hamper, wow it is amazing, with salad and a boiled egg.
2 A loungy day, a beautiful deep purple A5 diary arrived, together with a ferret calendar of course, it may be “old fashioned” but they are staples here.
3 New actual books rather than kindle to choose from, I’m trying Miss Bensons Beetle, working on the principle of I enjoyed Harold Fry.
4 The animals, always, so happy to play, interact and be bribed by treats.
5 Looking forward to the start of the RI Christmas lectures.

Thank you Amp, will wait until everyone is in bed.
Lovely, lovely neighbour brought 2 legs of turkey for Tiggy. If it's still okay tomorrow she will have a feast.
My slow cooker is my friend. Browned/sealed chicken thighs and sausages with garlic and onion granules (bought in the first lockdown, thought I should start using them) and cayenne pepper. Added Arrabiata sauce and petit pois. That was it. Easiest meal I have ever made. Served with creamy mashed potatoes. Was yummy.
Face timed with family yesterday for Mum & Dad's Anniversary. Miss them so much.
Nice walk with brother and Tiggy today. It's getting harder and harder to get him to leave the house.
Do you remember when I found £30.00 this year. It was very near a tree that has been named My Money Tree. When I walk past, I pat it and thank it. And its' siblings in the row. Explained all this to my brother today and he doesn't think I am bonkers. He's probably just used to me.................
Lots of support and advice to be found on this board. Had a great few days exploring. Started with what I want to solve and magically there always seemed to be a thread. (Grammar has gone, just felt it leave me).
Glad we can all still find pleasures. The photos are so uplifting so thank you.
warm hugs

Pleasures for today (Monday?)
1) A lie in.
2) About 6cm of snow so smaller son and I had a snowball fight. The football match we were due to see was cancelled - the first in 10 months.
3) Hens OK and it was pretty warm in the greenhouse (compared with outside).
4) Got a few jobs done plus cleaned the bathroom.
5) Made lots of the Curry Secret base sauce then made a Goan curry for tea, with muntjac and naans. Finished the biscuits afterwards and there is only a bit of cheese left now.
6) In bed with 1hwb and will watch TV for a while.15 -
Quiet day here.
1. A lie in for me.
2. Managed to open the door when DH locked himself in a bedroom.
3. DS2 went to his new house to find a leak. He called out a builder- who he used at work. Someone was there in 15 minutes and they hopefully solved the problem.
4. Made a cheesecake for tea. It was good and not something I usually make.
5. I spent time in the garden with a cup of tea. It was cold but no snow here.13 -
