Lainey - hope the knee is improving.
1. Managed to buy the last few Christmas cards I needed from a local lady who I buy all my cards from. Socially distanced card buying and transferred money later that day.
2. Took lunch to a friend. I'm in her bubble. A lovely 3 hours was spent eating and chatting.
3. Washing had virtually dried on the line.
4. DS2 reaction as we had no internet!! Not sure how he managed to survive.
5. Tasty tea from leftovers.11 -
For yesterday,
Sorry to say but bit of a boring day as I don’t do sitting down very well but I had the constant company of small dog and beloved made sure that I had a constant supply of tea, although that made for its own difficulties 😂
Received a couple of parcels in the post including a beautiful plaque made by a talented friend, now hung on the side of my hearth.
Did a lot of reading and played a fair few games of FreeCell.
Tasty tea of salmon and veg.
Will bank #5.

Hmm Nestle is still coughing which isn’t good news, we have a chat with the vet due on Monday, hoping to either increase dose temporarily or see if there is some other drug.
1 I’ve been busy doing “stuff” today, hoovering, tidying, changed our bedding, dragging bins around. Also and just you wouldn’t believe it I walked up to the post office to pick up a paper for the lidl voucher, sent a parcel back, then was told they have no first or second class stamps! Really I thought it was kind of the base thing for a post office. I’m very bemused.
2 I’m feeling concerned that DH is expecting something ferret related for Christmas, I’ve managed a great book on polecats but I think he want’s something else. Hmm panicking mildly. Ah well. It will all be fine.
3 I literally bunged everything looking a bit sad into a casserole with a bit of everything else.
4 Dh sorted heaters for the caravan and my car, trying to make the heaters as economic as possible.
5 Looking forward to a bath, also I’ve sorted out 2 of my outfits that I will wear and throw this weekend, literally things falling apart but also favourites clung onto, but I’ve got smarter things that get overlooked all the time I have these, so I’ve made up my mind they have to go. They will not find their way into the washing bin again, as they did last week, ops.

Hello. It’s been a long day and I’m glad it’s bedtime! Even though it’s not even 8.30pm.
up early for work. In for an hour.
into supermarket to buy voucher as a gift.
into town to go to M&S. was in charge of buying leaving gift & baby shower gifts.
nipped into a couple of charity shops. First day of reopening. Nice chat with staff. Got something to wear for tomorrow night. I’m dressing up in a seasonal fashion.
Home...briefly. Long enough to take doggy a nice walk. Bit rainy.
Then another supermarket to exchange a top I’d bought for tomorrow night but probably wouldn’t wear again. Couldn’t find receipt. Grrrr. Topped up petrol on way out.
had just sat down to lunch and phone call to see if I could go in to work to do catering for an emergency order!Did that then home to get a quick shower to then go for back massage. Lot of work done on sore shoulder. We just chat the full hour so it always goes quickly.
Then in to quickly get changed into glad rags ( lovely dress bought in charity shop for £2.50) a bit of make up and heated rollers in my hair for a bit of a lift! Then out to work again but this time for some pizza. Then home. Sigh. Hello doggy. Nice to see you.11 -
I enjoyed my day yesterday.
1. Went to community fridge. A good bag of food and chat with people there.
2. No queue in the post office when I collected a couple of parcels. Did but a couple of bottles of local cider for DS1.
3. Spent afternoon with a christmas movie on wrapping presents. It was peaceful.
4. Long chat with my parents.
5. Enjoyed watching rugby on tv - managed to watch 2 matches.
DS1 is now self isolating as his boss tested positive. DS1 feels fine at the moment. He seems ok about being in his flat by himself. He may finish the painting!10 -

For yesterday,
Knee not so swollen but very stiff so decided time to start moving more, small walk around the block with dog, hurt a bit but oh so glad to be outside.
Made a loaf and some oaty biscuits.
Trip over to the yard, lovely to see my girlie, just gave her a groom and caught up on cuddles.
Leaf out of BOP’s book and had haddock kedgeree for tea.
Enjoyed watching a Christmas Uni Challenge, suspect it was a repeat but good all the same.11 -
