Food orientated pleasures..
1 A really lovely butchers box delivered, can’t wait to try it, and when they heard we have ferrets added in some rabbit meat for them.
2 Cooked up the Christmas cake, it may have been tested along the way also, excess made 8 cupcakes. DH then used the heat of the kitchen to help with making HM rolls.
3 I was incredibly tempted by ordering in, but didn’t instead it’s a HM burger in one of the just made rolls topped with egg and cheese, it was very tasty.
4 Refilled the bird feeders and they were straight back on it.
5 In the warm, watching a daft movie.

Happycas- very belated happy birthday.
1. A meeting with a planning officer went very well. Need confirming letter but he sees no problem with officially changing our new land to garden and may not need to do that.
2. Told neighbours who are in similar position to us. We are all relieved. They garnished a complaint against them yet but expecting one dependant on outcome of ours.
3. Spent time in the garden planting bulbs. Also sowed winter salad leaves.
4. DS1 lost his number plate on way to work. One of the body shop companies he works with made him a new one.
5. DS1 arrived home from work and said there is a dog walking on the road. DS2 and I put in shoes and we all went out to find the dog in the dark. Caught her, she belongs to a house up the road, and she is very friendly and returned her. Had a chat with them.13 -
For yesterday,
Met two friends for coffee & scones at the farm shop cafe mid morning, making the most of seeing people before things change, much reminiscing from when we all worked together.
Actual shop worrying busy so abandoned idea of looking around but did pick up some butchers sausages for tea.
Sat with beloved whilst he had his lunch and gave him all the news.
Over to see my girl, she was already in and munching on her hay net so gave her a good groom and cleaned my tack.
Too cloudy to see the moon but still very light when small dog had her late night wander around garden, hoping for clear skies for tonight’s blue moon.13 -

Up early. Out for a very windy but dry ( at that time) walk. Still dark and just us.Nice phone call chat with friend.

Home and fire went on and I may have had a snoozette!Got as far as hoovering to the top of the stairs so I’m now doing bedrooms. Whilst waiting on Boris’ announcement...not that I care much for what he says but because it effects DD1.All Halloweeny stuff down and away. 1) woke at 5 so watched last episode of Us
2) then fell asleep for a couple of hours but was out in garden by 9 to do some major pruning - next door has taken the rotten fence down so this was a good opportunity before the new fence goes up
3) walked the dogs in the rain - i have boots and a long rain coat and it was bliss
4) dd2 decorated the porch then we headed to mum's for the rugby
5) and of course a ghoulish meal between match 2 and 3. Well done Scotland. We'll see what happens now.

Good Morning,
The doggies still have not adjusted to the clocks going back, so up at 5am again!
Yesterday
1. Washed the bi fold windows in the kitchen, inside and out, in between the rain showers! (Karcher window cleaner is my best toy at the moment!).
2. Guys came to work on the downstairs bathroom..... Looks Fab.
3. Gave the youngsters a lift to their 'Halloween Bottomless Bruch'........Demon Doll, Bandit Cowboy and The Cheshire Cat. They did look good. (Posh pub, with tables For 6, outside in a glass shelter, in case anyone was worried about social distancing and irresponsible fun).
4. Stopped at the Coop on the way back to redeem my coupons, and found 10 jars of Dolmio for 18p each.......(I can feel BoPs disapproval). 😱 , but we do use lots of this. They also had the Prosecco on offer. Happy shopping!
5. Fire, Roadkill, cup of tea..........watched a documentary about Sean Connery 😢 . Just about to go to bed when the very jolly young people arrived home. Went to bed quick, before I had to cook anything 🤣
Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
