Good evening all,
It's late because I've been making a cross stitch birthday card for a friend, but then I was reading and I just had to post to say Congratulations and very well done Dr VJsmum.
While I'm here I may as well do my pleasures for yesterday....
Still my garden. There's lots of flowers, there's blueberries on the blueberry bushes (still only baby blueberry bushes really) and the raspberries, blackberries and rhubarb are all looking good.
The HT did English work which he likes and maths which he doesn't but didn't complain about either. I sat with him for the maths as he struggles due to discalculia but we were still friends at the end of it.
Home made ginger biscuits. We both like them thin and well baked so they're more like ginger snaps really. Yum.
Made up a small parcel of sweeties for best friend. Obtained more glace cherries while posting parcel.
Had an online chat with my school friend group. It's good to talk ha ha!
Frith those pictures are great
Take care all of you

Congratulations Dr VJs mum 😊
Friend round for socially distanced lunch - duck pancakes, spring rolls, strawberries 🍓 and cream and a bottle of wine 😊
Enjoying the weather and watching the birds - a red kite soaring and lots of what I think were swifts circling
Hottubbing!
Chip butty for dinner
Talked to builders about coming back to finally finish the kitchen/dining room
😊😊17 -
Congratulations Dr VJsmum
Also love the photos Frith.
1. Saw 2 patients at work - first time I had seen 2 in a day since March!!!
2. Work at lunchtime in the sun.
3. Back went in the afternoon- I was walking into the kitchen at work. Colleagues helped as best they could.
4. Kindness of a security guard as I was walking/ shuffling to my car to go home. She asked whether I needed help.
5. Boys all looked after me and DS2 cooked.16 -

Congratulations DrVJSMum, all that hard work has paid off x
For yesterday,
My fortnightly visit to the emporium, wasn’t too bad and I got most things on the list but boy are things getting expensive!
Over to the yard and a visit from the physio for girlie, he released a couple of tight muscles and generally made her feel good.
Earlier walk as we had company coming in the evening, very warm in the sun and grass crunchy under our feet, we need rain.
Snack tea as had bigger lunch, soft Brie on baguette with tomato and basil, so tasty.
Our lovely friend came and sat in our garden with us for a couple of hours, smashing to catch up and he enjoyed watching the birds who are so used to us now they just carry on going about their business, the woodpecker and her youngster even put in an appearance.15 -

Carolbee, Wow red kites, we are too inland to see them.
Bala, to have a good vet is literally priceless, the one we totally trusted retired a few years ago, since then sods law says we have had some very quirky illnesses (tetnus, and an un identifiable one)
For yesterday
1 The air cons were out, the ferrets aren’t able to sweat and don’t deal with heat, I can relate to that.
2 It was nice to walk into the ”guest room” and actually have room, I’ve still got work to do, but lovely to see and feel progress I just need to finish it off and then it needs painting.
3 Threw together food of a bowl of spaghetti, chopped bacon and veg.
4 A vast amount of gardening, all borders dug, compost added to all plants, new plants added in, plants moved and pot bound plants put out, so much for an easy day.
5 Enjoying the garden.
Back later with todays.

Rainy, but I'm not sad cos the garden needs it.
Had two really good afternoons with visit from one friend on Monday and another yesterday. Lovely to sit in the garden and chat .
New garden bench is here and in situ. Looks lovely, if a little wet now!
Very wheezy today. You would think asthma would be worse in hot, dry, pollen full weather, but no! Obviously I am allergic to rain!
Happy ☔ day everyone15
