1 Well not a pleasure my keen sandals were delivered to a random alleyway, I don’t suspect criminals at all much. So I’ve reported it, glad I paid how I did as I can ask for my money back, the pleasure in the ridiculousness of an awful courier company.
2 Accounts submitted.
3 I’ve had some great feedback from writing, but I can’t rush what I was trying to enter as I have literally so many different ideas as I go, so I spoke with DH and we’ve agreed I will keep going to be in time for next years competition. The pleasure I am so glad I am at least trying what I have always wanted to do.
4 Watched fantastic beasts and where to find them.
5 More plants planted up, with a lot of animal help.

DD small dog also has a paddling pool but just stands in the middle snapping at bubbles!
For yesterday,
An early morning walk around the garden with the first cuppa of the day and ended up doing some dead heading.
A shower and a bacon butty then back out to the garden, pulled the last of the radishes so more sewn plus yet more salad leaves. Did a bit of research as would like a clematis that will grow up north facing porch.
Tasty lunch of pork souvlakia and pot salad followed by melon & strawberries.
Watched Hound of the Baskervilles or rather tried to as kept nodding off.
Evening walk and found a patch of purple wild poppies, stunning.
Another one who watched Fantastic Beasts.

Eased Out ...
The canteen will never bee the same again now we are free? Alcatraz from 56 years to the day after it closed. Now imagine if you had fallen asleep then, and woke today. 21st March 1963!
Sandals. No I wears me crocs!
Shower bacon butties. We are in line for a Bacon and Egg Banjo this weak, and the egg wills be squirty!
Now on you version of the Life with BoP!
Had luncheon on the Plaza again. Toms, ham cucumber, and cheeses. Berries of blue strawbs and orange. BoPsie nicked me mixing bowl and rolling pin to do scones, pronounced GONE!, and I buttered and rasp[berry jammed my scones. Rite tasty they are! Crumbs.
Watching the cricket, the aussies are being humped. It is still good even thoughs we know the score.
Watched anotehr flix last evening, Delivery Man, on the amazon thing. Cocoa and cheeses were consumed. Otehr films are available. I have just realised, that in 44 years, I has still not seen the Wars of Star film! Mmmm. Did once see a Batman when on a course, told BoPsie and then had too take her! Another flix in the projector for this evening.
Raffles is off his special food off dried this weak! He is just being awkward and will be fine. BoPsie is recovering.
That is all for this day!

Hello everyone, my pleasures for yesterday.....
Still my garden. I'm so glad that I paid to have a new fence put up. It's lovely to be able to sit out in the good weather.
The HT did his online Spanish work and submitted it on time, meaning that he has caught up with the work he didn't do for the first couple of weeks.
I made some cherry scones. The supermarket didn't have any glace cherries but the little shop/post office where I went to post a small parcel of sweeties to my best friend had some small pots so....yum
I did the last run for week 4 on the couch to 5k app. I've done it before but haven't been running for a while so this is breaking me in gently. Sometimes I carry on running through the walking breaks depending on how energetic I feel.
I had a letter pushed through the door telling me that my work contract will be terminated once the government stop paying furlough and expect employers to contribute. No surprise really - it's a small family run cafe not a multi million pound empire and I can't expect them to pay me if they're not making any money. The pleasure is that I can take my time looking for another job. It would be good if I could find something to start in September when (hopefully) the HT goes back to school after the summer break.
Take care all of you15 -
Plenty of hot ooofts here too Mhagster.
Wishing you lots of luck with the job search Cranky.
Pleasures for today, really appreciating the garden at the moment and seem to spend much of the day out there...even managed to rig up a garden office set up so worked outside today.
Lovely lunch of asparagus and feta frittata washed down with numerous cups of tea.
Family zoom meeting to look forward to later this evening.
New reading material arrived, still deciding what to read first.
Current pleasure, catching up on here with a slice of hm Victoria sponge and some proper coffee.Well Behaved women seldom make history
Early retirement goal... 2026

Hello. That’s a bit pants cranky about your job (I’m furloughed too in similar job) but at least you’ve been given notice and can hopefully find something else. When I dropped table off at niece last week we took a walk to beach . The main road is full of many independent small traders and I felt sad that so many of them will be affected financially by this. People working hard and doing their best day in and day out in normal times must be finding this all so difficult.
another day of heat. Had been awake through night which is now unusual...oddly I’ve slept better since lockdown. So it was almost 8am when I woke up which is late for me.Tidied bedroom. The angst of finding nothing to fit on Saturday night saw clothes everywhere! Anyway they are now back in the wardrobe and the room is tidy again. DD2 who had a similar problem also tidied her dressing room! ( which sounds posher than it is...she doesn’t have a wardrobe in her room so uses the one in DD1 room) but it was strewn with clothes when I tried to enter it to open the window!Bathrooms all clean.
Downstairs hoovered.A visit to the mother. It too was strewn with stuff! So I was a tad grumpy at this! I struggle to understand how one person can be so untidy in just days. Very frustrating. Anyway! Hoovering, kitchen (as much as I can) , floors washed and washing hung out and another load put on. Then outta there! Then to supermarket & pharmacy. No queue at supermarket...oh I’ll just go to pharmacy first ( who were very helpful) but then I went to supermarket...huge queue! Anyway just needed a few things. Then home.Hello doggy. In and out of garden . Doing chores in between watching Masterchef Australia.A letter from DD1. And a £10 voucher from the vets which is a bit difficult to spend as we can’t go in!16 -
Crankey, Sorry to hear the work news, but glad they told you quickly, good luck with the hunt.
1 The upstairs is tidied, cleaned and new bedding on for us, while all windows flung open.
2 All wash loads now out on the line.
3 We sat and wondered what was going on it seemed like all the birds were circling and making a complete racket but we couldn’t see why but we took time to sit and watch.
4 Watering the garden again, as I suspect a ban will be in place soon.
5 Our little local takeaway delivered and discounted, I don’t know why but we do seem to get on really well with them which is lovely.
