1. My first supermarket shop since lockdown. I was impressed and it was quiet in there. Had a short queue of about 5 when I arrived. But lots more when I left. DS2 had driven me and he went to the butchets.
2. Planted up a couple of pots in the garden which look really good.
3. Enjoyed the sunshine.
4. BBQ with neighbours. A lovely time eating, drinking and laughing. We are so lucky to have good neighbours.
5. Home grown salad leaves and herbs.13 -

A bright and shiny day again
I started last week very down, but it definitely improved as the week went on
Had a trip to the garden centre. Usually a weekly haunt, but first visit in weeks, of course. Bought lots of goodies from the deli, and lots of totally unnecessary plants - but they are very beautiful.
Back the next day to order a garden bench. We had deliberated but then thought ' What the heck!'. DH says we can have a plaque on it that says 'Bought with money saved in the great lockdown of 2020'
Plans made to see friends next week. All official now! And we don't have to sit on a bench in a park.
And a lovely Chinese takeaway to round the week off
Happy 🌞 Sunday everyone14 -
Wow on eldest’s aspirations Frith
For yesterday,
Tried to have a lie-in but already too warm & sunny.
The woodpecker has started bringing a youngster to the peanut feeder, love the way they creep up the branch in the apple tree.
Time spent with my equine girlie, gave her a field groom and she overturned my bucket looking for treats so I hunted down some cow parsley for her.
Small dog appeared to pull a muscle chasing tennis balls the day before, she seemed ok on both walks today but will leave the tb’s at home for a few days.
Went outside at 10.10pm and saw the rocket going over.12 -
Look at the Tension!
The Cable Car Barn in San Francisco last March on another BoP Tour! Lots of pullies and cable, all run from the same place.
Now with the latest happenings in BoPsphere!
Had the BBQ last nite, all was good. Raffles had the drumstick bones and was well happy.
Watched another flix last night, About Schmidt, had Jack Nicholson in it. Very good and wobbleades and cheeses were consumed.
Now watching the cricket again. Don'ts thinks Warstershire will win though! Seem to be out of order on the replay thing tooday!
We had the dippy eggs and marmite soldiers. BoP tried to upload a picture of the proper weigh to do dippy eggs this morning, but had big fingers, little buttons problem! But I can say, it was well worth it. Tea was drinked.
That is all this dayRaffles will again organise the Yellow Thing for another BBQ this weak!

Oooft ‘tis hot.
H & I were at allotment before seven. Just did watering . Picked 2 radishes and some chives.
Home and started baking. You know to add to the oooft it’s hot. Baking for a friends party mid week.Made Maltesers slice. Millionaire shortbread ( boiling caramel for 3 hours also adding to the ooofts) and honeycomb tiffin. And meringues. More to be done tomorrow .
Much washing including my bedding and remembered to remake before bedtime!Chatted to friend on phone.
popped down to another friend with some cakes with doggy. A wee bit cooler outside but oooft when I came in.

Mhagster, I have just read about your baking and my teeth have now fallen out.
My pleasures today....
Out early to get petrol and call at local shop, not too many people around.
A kilogram of strawberries from local shop, worked out at £2 a kilo cheaper than buying the usual 400gram punnets. I love a bargain!
Same kilogram of strawberries - some used to start a small batch of strawberry vodka and (most of them) to start this year's Rumtopf. I'm doing two big jars this year.
Brunch in the garden, yoghurt, strawberries, croissants, brioche rolls, preserves, orange juice, real coffee.
Cake made for the next few days - sponge cake sandwiched with strawberry conserve, and coconut and cherry buns.
New batch of yoghurt started.
Productive gardening, mange touts and runners moved on to bigger containers.
Lovely phone chats with dad and with stepson.
Son ordered pizzas for this evening, which we ate whilst watching Dr Who on Netflix.
One life - your life - live it!15 -

Good evening all,
DD my sister bought a pool for her labrador. Once it was filled everyone went outside. The dog slid cautiously around the outside edge of the garden before making a dash for the back door and hiding in the house.
Pleasures for yesterday...
My garden. It's not the biggest or the most amazing but having lived in flats when I was younger I really appreciate it.
Planting out some sweet peas. My best friend tried to order some sweet peas for my birthday but couldn't get any. I opened a carrier bag that he'd given me last year to reuse it and his half used sweet pea seed packets fell out. I planted the seeds (as you do, lol) and the seedlings appeared on my birthday. Couldn't make it up.
Other friend gave me a strawberry plant. That went out yesterday too.
All of the HT's online school work printed off and filed under subject headings ready for revision. That took a while. Hopefully it will be worth it.
My sister emailed me some more photos of my great niece and great nephew.
Take care all of you
