1. Messaging a friend before and during work-related think it helped us both with frustration of work.
2. Went for walk at lunchtime. A different walk and enjoyed seeing the scenery.
3. Warm evening to sit in the garden after watering.
4. New to me recipe which was easy and also tasted good.
5. Helping DS1 with interview questions. It helped him but we weren't being particularly serious.13 -
For yesterday,
Pilates first thing, my sit up ability is improving!
Bottomed out the bedroom and en-suite.
My girlie’s behaviour on the lunge was much better, despite the distraction of hedges being chopped nearby, extra apple as a reward.
Evening walk across the fields with beloved and small dog.
Bit disappointed that didn’t get to see space station but the consolation of strawberries for supper.

For yesterday.....
Arriving home after night shift, always a pleasure.
Weekly visit of fruit and veg van so I could stock up on good things. Scottish strawberries, 440 grams or so for £1.50. You pay £2 or more in a supermarket!
Pleasureable walk with son and dog, fields, woods, riverside.
Light lunch of cheese omelette and posh fries from Donald Russell.
Practising choir songs, I ran through Dreams, Footloose and Hallelujah. Complete with dance moves.
An hour basking in the afternoon sunshine.
Meeting up with friends online I hadn't seen for a long time.
Lovely evening shower, using Body Shop shea butter shower gel and body butter.
Jelly and ice cream on the sofa with Dr Who.
Bed early in fresh clean cotton bedlinen. Much welcomed as I had only slept one hour in the past 39.
One life - your life - live it!13 -
I like the idea of your choir, Nargle - all OH's have been cancelled for the time being.
Pleasures for TUesday
1. revision - got to keep going even when i don't want to. Silly to slack off now i'm so close - but it is hard. Only the mornings though. Hmm, not sure there's a pleasure - except that i haven't found too many errors in the thesis on re-reading it. One 'clanger' - but even that isn't too bad.
2. bacon and egg for lunch - trying to low carb to lose a few pounds.
3. lovely warm sunshine
4. Been reading my backlog of subsciption "Big Issue" s - such a good read. Been tackling the crossword, sudoku and the quiz
5. Put up the drive away awning for our micro camper car - its Huuuuuuge. OH slept in it - pretended he was on holiday
6. Family film night - DS's choice "Blinded by the Light". Very good indeed.
And yesterday
1. Lovely warm sunshine, read a few pages of my book sat out in the garden after revision.
2. A walk in the local woods - much cooler there.
3. DD is having some mental health issues - ongoing but brought to a head by isolation. The pleasure is that she had an appointment with the doctor and things are getting in motion for her recovery.
4. OH and I made sourdough pizza for tea - it was bl00dy lish. He and i had asparagus, onion, pepper and goats cheese and DS had peperoni and ham. DD was playing dungeons and dragons online so did not partake.
5. OH and i watched an episode of The Stranger on Netflix.
Have a fab day all - what's the betting the weather will break as we come out of lockdown?
I wanna be in the room where it happens12 -
VJsmum, the choir still meets for rehearsal once a week via Zoom, and our leader puts resources/tutorials on the website so we can practise and prepare for the following week's session. We are still missing our normal "in the flesh" meetings and the performances we do but, one day hopefully soon....One life - your life - live it!11
