Hello. Just had macaroni for tea followed by pavlova for pud. Was going to have an omelette and would have made one for son but he declined so I then thought you know what I’ll just have macaroni. He doesn’t like it.Up early with doggy. We’d had a splash of rain overnight but field was still dry. I woke up and heard a noise and wondered what it was, rain. It’s been a while.Walked over an extra field to try and get a better view of distant island. The sunrise was reflected again and the clouds were interesting, no ducks but lots of other birds. Would really need to take good camera and long distance lens to get a good pic.Came home and started baking. Radio on. Dog under my feet. Made 2 small pavlovas. Honeycomb for honeycomb tiffin. Tiny scones and bigger scones for son. Cupcakes. Packaged them nicely with some jam and cream and popped over to friend’s doorstep for her daughters birthday. Thirteen today and in lockdown! Chatted for 10 minutes from a suitable distance then headed off. It was nice to bake and give.Didn’t do terribly much in afternoon. Sat outside for a wee while. But chilly and overcast. My magazine was delivered so I read that. Then watched Masterchef Australia. In the usual stop starty way.Quick walk with doggy and met friend on way back so walked side by side with 2 metres apart!Stay safe x10

LaineyT that looks lovely...
pleasures for today
1. Oggling and coveting Lainey’s tea
2. Had to pop into the real office today, one other colleague there so we had a floor each and after we had finished the essentials we sat in the boardroom at either end of the table for a chat. Bizarre situation but so nice to have a catch up.
3. FaceTime with DD3
4. Meters read and supplier is recommending I reduce payments. £144 in credit so as summer is approaching I did.
5. Had a play with my bullet journal....looking quite sparse with the current situation but still thought I would keep it up to look back on in years to come.Well Behaved women seldom make history

Lainey, those birthday celebrations looks wonderful.
Ampersand, you were in my thoughts earlier as I was looking at a history of Spitalfields in photo’s earlier.
Bop Glad you didn't fall to badly.
1 I’m both glad for the a$da deliveries as we would be scuppered without it, however it’s also very obvious that none of their budget range is available, and when it comes to delivery it’s very much half of what was ordered. Still trying to work with it but I am annoyed as we had the option of a food box last night, which is now out of stock, that I decided against as I had ordered what we needed from Mr A which now has none of it.
2 A lot of bits and bobs around the house cleaned and tidied, the washing machine had a que of things, done while listening to a Russell Brand, pod cast in the background.
3 The "too hard to throw" and the "I’ll fit into it one day box", was today not hard and now de cluttered to the car for when CS’s re open, as it was in the way. It feels positive in a way to have done it.
4 A bowl of veg pasta with leftover everything in was dinner.
5 More reading it feels good to be able to be back into a book again.

vjsmum enjoy basking in the knowledge it's in
1) day 2 of workouts with dd2 then lovely breakfast
2) great PhD supervision with student in Pakistan
3) dd2 made a cake so i had a lovely tea break with her at 4
4) dd2 persuaded me beginners' barre would be fun while our supper was cooking. omg those little pulses look so innocuous - I suspect i will ache tomorrow (but yes it was fun)
5) supper then walked the dogs then piano (sadly no time for accordion tonight due to barre torture) and now in bed with HIGNFY.
