Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) A lie in.
2) Last remaining hen off her food; even tinned sweetcorn did not suit.
3) Did 2 loads of washing, dried on the line.
4) My newest neighbour (downhill side) told me she has been going for various long walks. She described going across the fields into the next village, going up across the big hill, getting lost and finding a tiny lane. She decided to follow that, hoping it would come out on a road eventually. After a couple of miles, she stopped and a man (no one knows who!) recommended some honey for sale at the foot of a long drive. So she bought some and liked it and they've eaten it! She recommended that I buy some if I drive past - but I told her I didn't need to, as she had by chance bought it from my mum and dad!!!!
5) Had campfire number 4 on the allotment.
6) A very exciting evening! There is a big hill with a trig point between my house and my brother's and you can see it properly now the trees have been cleared. Its about 2 miles walk for both of us. We cooked up a plan and, at 10.30pm, we flashed torches at each other! I was in the window, and he had walked to the top of the hill
7) Bigger son and I sat out in the garden and saw quite a few meteorites including 2 large fireballs. We were chatting and realised we haven't been in another house for 4 weeks.
8) Just watched Swimming with Men on Netflix.

1. A lovely walk at lunchtime. The blossom on the trees looked great.
2. Found out how to apply to join the staff bank. I have offered via my manager to help with swabbing and to do extra shifts at weekends and bank holidays. She wanted me to do the extra shifts for time in lieu I would like to be paid for it.
3. Had a discussion 're annual leave that my manager wants me to take a week in May/ June that I can cancel at short notice if she wants me too. I said no as I have booked leave already.
4. Chat with neighbours.
5. DS1 walked for 20km - he was feeling pleased with himself.13 -
For yesterday,
Cut my own hair, it’s thick and wavy so grows out rather than down. Did the deed in downstairs loo as mirrors could be appropriately positioned, not a bad job and ably assisted by Capt S tidying up the back.
Washed down the walls in porch and smiled at slightly grubby patch where small dog leans whilst having her paws dried.
My visit to yard coincided with other livery owner and we had a good catch up from the required distance.
Saw a picture of the lovely Martin Clunes appearing on breakfast tv in his PJ’s with a dog on his lap ☺️
We went outside at 9pm and saw the satellite train but no meteorites.14 -
Good morning,
Lovely day here in Central Scotland.
Tackling the back fence, It usually takes four weekends two of us but with chipping away at it 2/3 is done.If the forecast is correct will finish this at the weekend.
All the little birds are nesting in the hedges.
Was out earlier for essentials, got all I needed plus chocolate.
Only the spare room to spring clean. The beauty of a small house.
Back to my childhood. Made a jelly with fruit. Will have with cream though instead of the required Carnation milk.16 -

Day off today with house and things, so cricket on the box and things. Room mis readied for the paint yesterday. Ifs BoP gets on with it too quick, I wills has nothings left to do. So There!
Had another snorker fest this morning, with best back, mushrooms and SpagYETTI Tea was drinked! Put the proper digestives into the barrel, and wes still haves the cakes of Jaffa! Pleasures for today.
1. such a beautiful day, breakfast in the garden with the sound of birdsong and a nice cuppa.
2. Didn’t get a lot of work done today other than responding to emails and sending a few more, my ‘office’ was an outdoor one today which was lovely but not very productive.
3. Bird feeders washed and refilled, bird bath cleaned, sterilised and refilled and currently been enjoyed by a blackbird.
4. Had some jerk chicken marinating all day and just about to cook with some rice and peas....Jamaican night tonight.
5. Linen press emptied, re organised and sorted some bedding and towel sets for the charity shop when it is open again.Well Behaved women seldom make history

Mrs M, I am wondering how long the bar will last, so I've marked yours. I didn't think it would work on long hair I'm pleasantly surprised.
1 Deliveries, Asda delivery, and a couple of bits to hide away for DH's birthday from Screwfix and Amazon arrived all disinfected I don’t know if it works but tried.
2 I’m pleased with the front garden progress well it just needed regular water and tlc really.
3 Dh did a lot of van work today cleaning and sorting, we don’t use a cover as they tend to scratch so it means it needs cleaning as it doesn’t look like it will be used this year.
4 Downstairs hoovered and mopped.
5 I admit I forgot to take the food from the freezer, so a pasta bake was created, I don’t think DH even noticed.
