A tranquil and peaceful 2018 to all of you
I am starting well with a `cook` ready meal for lunch, I have two in the freezer. A veg juice for a second breakfast. A berry/apple pud. Yes ok, I am clearing the fridge and concentrating on the freezer too. My two bowls of `wet` bread dough have been slowly rising in the fridge for three days, I am making a peasant bread. Out now and will stand for three hours, then shape and make ciabattas. Perfect with my root veg soup
I bought a pack of 3 small trifles in a village shop yesterday, ok not like hm but the one I had was lovely. No doubt they will be gone by tonight. Last day of indulging for me, I hope0 -
:hello: welcome and hello to irenadler.
We only got home from NYE party at 3.30am so I've only been up an hour, just had 2 toast and cheese spread. Not sure what tea will be as I'm definitely not going out, might not even get dressed!! Possibly fish finger butty or hm pizza.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -
WM toast and banana for breakfast.
Bowl of HM chickpea curry for lunch. I'm watching the concert on the BBC at the moment, but will finish watching this and have a bath and then have my lunch.
I'm not sure about the rest of the day. I know I will have a smoothie at some point.0 -
the cook pasta/chicken ready meal was fabulous and so was the second trifle. Peasant ciabatta is cooked and cooled and in all honesty I have never tasted such wonderful bread in my whole entire bread-making or bread-buying life. I tasted an edge and quickly cut all of it into slices and it is bagged and in the freezer to stop me eating it, just perfect with all the hm soups. I have kept out a wider edge for my last meal, with root soup.
Too late for a cycle ride and anyway I had a late night, thanks to loud fireworks in the village. The sun is out and maybe I will just sit with my knitting and audible book0
