Totally blew it today, had a 300 mile round trip but needed to get some biscuits to give to the staff where I was going, also bought some water and chicken pieces plus extra biscuits. Put them in the boot so I wouldn't be tempted. However when I set off back on the journey the dog was hot and needed a drink so I just had to go in the boot for some water for him and guess what I saw - the extra biscuits, and very yummy they were too.
I was so full I just had a punnet of strawberries and a peach for tea.
never mind tomorrow is another day.:)0 -
Good morning!
B. 1/3 melon before it goes over, coffee
And I have no ideas for the rest of the day. Will involve courgettes I'm sure!
Huge insect bites so having a day at home....just been phoned by someone who wishes to drop in:eek: the flat is a complete tip with all the gear for two weeks cycling on the floor before we test pack at the weekend....so clearing, cleaning and flowers are in order.
I might go for a walk later...lacking much get up and go you are realising.
Have a lovely day.0 -
Morning all.
I found my first courgette of the year in the veggie patch so I had that yesterday.
B: low carb granola, berries, skim
L: salad with beetroot dip and tzatzikisomething from the freezer as fridge is nearly empty (on purpose)
50 min dog walk
DD is going to make Tarte Tatin tonight. She started to last night, far too late, but burnt the caramel. By then it was well past 9pm and it would need a good hour from starting again so I called a halt. It is her first attempt which I do applaud, but its very stressful to watch due to the risk of burns with the caramel.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Hope we are all well.
Still not weighed myself at the gym. They are great but it's difficult to grab someone to weigh you as everyone is busy.
Working out three days a week at the moment and I can feel differences already.
Not sure I will ever reach 67.8kg which would make me the lowest i've been as an adult, I may have to settle for 68kg as i'm probably adding muscle now, which is fine. I lost 3 stone which is more than I ever could have imagined. Now it's all about toning and building.
If I can't weigh on Sunday, i'll go to Boots and subtract what I know my clothes weigh.Weight Loss - Start (21st September 2016) 13st 10lbs, Current 10st 10lb (20th August 2017) :j

It's WI Day for me tomorrow and I'm desperately trying to ignore the siren calls from the biscuit tin.
SO.....
Breakfast: 2 crispbread and 1 boiled egg. (quelle surprise)
Lunch: 3 crispbreads with some cheese and salad.
1 nectarine.
I have some SF jelly made up for the danger period between 4 and 6pm.
Fingers crossed.I believe that friends are quiet angels

L:- A tiny bit of ham with a salad, included both fruit and veg
- 1 sausage, another salad, strawberries and blueberries afterwards.
I just love salads that are a bit of this/a bit of that and have all sorts of vegetables from raw cauliflower to cold green beans, and all sorts of fruit cut up into small pieces. I don't have a dressing but use the roast garlic and herb grinder from Sains....
I kid you not when I say it takes almost as long to get it ready as it does to eat it.0
