Cath was it an ulcer you had? Sorry I can't remember, but if it was see if your nurse has those honey bandages. I have raw honey straight from a local beekeeping and I slapped it on a nasty infected blister. It not only cleared up in days, but it left no scar which was amazing as it was the size of the old 50 pence pieces.
No not me!
Zafiro, hope all goes well, x0 -

I've just come back from a whole day's testing at the Royal Brompton heart hospital in London and my op is scheduled for next week. One half of me is pleased the other half is sh.....scared. The statistics are 97% are fine - 3% are not.
On the bright side they were really pleased that I've lost a total of nearly 4 stone over the last year so its a great big thank you to everyone on here especially Knitwitch as I couldn't have done it without all the chat, laughs and support.
They have suggested I maintain my current weight until after my op so my body is in the best possible shape but I know I've still got a couple more stone to lose so I'll be back to join in when I can.
Wish me luck, this is the most scary thing that has ever happened to me. (op is - open heart, valve replacement and bi-passes but I'm not sure exactly how many, maybe three)
We will be cheering you on hun - best of luck! (and yes I will take you off the challenge - you can either start afresh later on or wait until the end of March for the next one!)Must use my stash up!0 -
Oh zaf....I hope it all goes well and that you'll make a swift recovery.
I am just a bit bored with my client's rude teenager.
Client is doing well, however..
...she is also a very longstanding friend.
I must try not to eat in my rather dull evenings...the light is not good enough to knit....0 -
Sorry Cath, I meant Cranky!
I did my dvd exercises again :j
B: banana
L: 1/2 a tuna mayo sandwichchicken, mash and sweetcorn
S: little bit of ice cream *blush*
Tomorrow will be a dreadful diet day I'm afraid as it's DD birthday and I'm taking her shopping and to lunch, and then in the evening we're going out to dinner as a family. Add to that I'm making a cake, well let's just say I'll be happy if I get a sts this week....0 -

Do you like jigsaw puzzles? I’ve been doing online jigsaws at jigsaw planet. They’re timed if you feel competitive (you don’t have to look at times) and I’ve just checked that I can do them on my iPad too.
Thinking of Zafiro and hoping everything goes well.0 -
B - kipper plus tomatoes
L - veg and quinoa soup (made by colleague)
T - will be chicken burritos0
