    Gained 1lb again this week.

Gutted. I was really hoping to lose weight for an event at the end of this month and it's just not happened. :(

    Ugh.
I'm going to revisit what I'm doing, continue tracking and try swapping things out.

Made turkey burgers today for the kids and me, with wedges and coleslaw using Nat yog instead of mayo. Jury's still out on the coleslaw but the burgers were nice and gained thumbs up from the kids, added some cranberry sauce to them to make them more festive! Dh just looked on he wouldn't touch a turkey burger with a ten foot pole!

    I totally lost it today, I was going through a freezer and found some cubes of cheese and brown seeded submarine rolls so;
lunch was cheese and tomatoes on; not one - but two split toasted rolls, followed by a slice of fruit cake (I had been making a couple of Christmas cakes to a new recipe so one of them needed trying just to make sure it was up to scratch for Christmas Day!!!!).

Dinner was roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables plus a glass of wine followed by ice cream. Loads of beef left so that will do for sandwiches and dinners etc for a few days.

Not a good diet day as my stomach is complaining that I've eaten far too much.

    STS

Going to be tough not to gain...coming to UK for two weeks Nov/Dec for funeral. .and to see my family and friends. I will, of course, get overfed again.
Going out tonight...I shall have something before I go to save money and calories but will nurse a drink for as long as I can.
As for actually losing weight, well it just doesn't happen.

    Better luck to you all

Knit Witch - I've STS this week. I am not amused.

B/F - chocolate readybrek, slice of seeded toast with flora & jam, coffee
Lunch - protein shake, yoghut & granola, tea
Tea - l/o roasted veg with some cheese, tea.

Yesterday I had 2 pitta breads and a panna cotta dessert that weren't on my list. I did run though.

We are a split household on coleslaw so I cut the veg and people add their own dressing. I prefer vinaigrette but make it with balsamic so I can have a much higher proportion of vinegar to oil. DD prefers mayo but I buy the reduced fat version - not the lightest version as that is awful. Alternatively I have '70% less fat' salad cream (I prefer salad cream to mayo anyway because I like vinegar a lot).

Hello everyone. I was MIA last week as we went away to meet up with some friends we'd not seen for years, twas a fab weekend. Anyway, copious amounts of food was partaken, particularly the all you can eat breakfast, (never eat breakfast at home so I have a tendency to take them at their word, several times!) OMG I'm glad I don't have that option every day, I'd be huge.
The upshot is is that I'm back to my start weight again BUT ........I'd put on a lot more than the .8 lb I'd lost originally so technically that's a bigger loss right? ( clutching at straws again here).
Life should be a bit more normal now, as I've been taking my mum in and out of hospital as my dad is in there, so long car journeys, long hours sitting in hospital, extra cakes and snacks in hospital, not enough of my normal walking etc. Usually I walk a lot every day. Dad's been transferred to a local hospital so that is great, I can walk there and it cuts down on mums travelling time. So much better for everyone.
Anyway, hugs to everyone, well done all, chin up, keep supporting each other, we can do this!
    Happy Friday everyone x
