It'll be off by Monday, my official weigh in day ;)

I refer to it as 'the boomerang pound'!!

STShere, although I didn't post last week due to the confusion of what happened to the thread (and also I'd found that boomerang pound, now lost it again!!!) I just can't seem to get the weight loss kick started this time.

    Happy Saturday everyone x

Jolly freezing tonight. Lots of hot drinks are keeping me going.

    Today's delights.....

    Boiled egg and 2 crispbreads

    Chicken and ham salad.
    Nectarine.

    - naughty custard cream. Delicious.

    Hello everyone, can I join?

I have read posts 1 and 2 so understand what this is about, but just wondered whether I have to have a set weigh in day and set targets or anything like that? :)

Can I join once again? Have been in and out of this tread for the last couple of years :-) But now I really have to get my grip together and get rid of this baby fat (which doesn't suit a woman of 30...) Well, it is a bit more than only baby fat to be honest... It is about 3 stone to go until I reach the upper end of a healthy weight...

Am back from holiday for two weeks, the first week hasn't been too good food wise but I still lost 3 lbs and last week I did a lot of swimming (4 hours in total) and, beside one small slip one night, stayed in my W€ightW... points but still only lost 1 lb. It isn't fair sometimes, but as long the weight goes down and not up I can live with it.

Will have a lazy day today, been out all day yesterday going for a meal and a small hike with my parents and sister. So today is for cleaning, mending, some office stuff and loads of knitting. It is rather grey around here, so don't mind being inside.

    Todays plan:
B toast with margarine and jam
L either salad or a vegetable soup
D vegetarian shepherds pie. I call it forester pie as I use mushrooms in it
    S ice cream
    E maybe a walk...

@knitwitch, how long is the current challenge still going?

@Florence there is usually a challenge going on that takes round 12 week. When you join the challenge you say how many lbs you want to lose in this time. Every week you submit your loss (or gain...) and KnitWitch will add it to the list. It doesn't matter which day you weight in, the list is normally updated on Saturday and all weights since the previous Sunday are added to it. The only important thing is that you post your weight in a way that is easy for KnitWitch to find when she does the list, red and bold works best so it is easy for her to spot.

Re boomerang pound....! Great name for something we all know. I call it "I've lost a pound but found it again."

@gresleyrover you could also used courgettes in a cake. Basically take a recipe for a carrot cake with some nuts in it and use courgettes instead of carrots. Ok, I should not promote cake in a weigh loss tread :-) but it is still a relatively healthy cake after all.

    Thank you RicardaRacoon and Karcher

I weighed myself today for the first time in a while and it wasn't too shocking, I think my weigh in day will be Wednesday as that's the best day for me.

Looking forward to being a part of this.

Of course you can join! you just need to let me know how much you want to lose on the challenge (if you are joining that - some people just want the support of the thread), targets you set yourself along with the weigh in day (we are fairly easy going on this thread lol)
