:T Good loss greentiger . Well done! You must be delighted!
The free Batchelors savoury rice are the ones that take 15 minutes to cook in the microwave . The ones with a clock on the front saying 10 minutes have a few syns but not many.
I'm staying strictly on plan but don't feel like I'm losing at all. It's the bloated tummy that's getting to me. I hate it.
Our incredible sulk has now put in a transfer request, moaning about how badly he's been treated because we've refused to sell him when he has 5 years left on his contract! He'll be off soon no doubt.
Thanks for the pics bubbs . Your meal looks lush. You're quite a cook.:)0 -
Evening all
Today's been quite samey - usual breakfast & lunch with the leftovers from yesterday (Mary Berry's Moroccan stew) for tea but I did go swimming tonight for an hour so am pleased with today.
Bubbs what did you put in your pasties? I've got the ingredients to do the pasties with the Asda stewed steak ....all I have to do now is find 5 minutes to do them lol
Does anyone know where I can buy the Cheerios Oats (I think that's the only one you can use as heb) relatively cheeply? I usually alternate between shreddies & shredded wheat but I think even I'm getting fed up now but was gobbed snacked at the cost lol
I must admit as well I'm a little disappointed with the macaroon hifi bars....not what I was expecting at all....was hoping for more chocolate I think.0 -
Sorry I haven't been around much this week.Life is very busy, with it being school hols, meals are a bit ad-hoc.Sometimes I look at what I am eating and think "How could I describe this on MSE SW thread?".Lots of "picky eating",out for 2 All-you -can-eat meals (partner's birthday),where, even though I try to watch what I eat,I could not remember every different thing I ate to report back here.
I have been feeling very peckish this weeek, and I think that is partly because we are eating as and when, and I haven't done a proper grocery shop for a while, sodon't have my usual low-syn snacks in that I usually would.
Having said all that,I had weigh-in tonight, and lost 1/2 lb.I consider myself to be very lucky.
So now I need to be really good because I only have 2.5 lb to lose to get back into target range (which I got out of nearly 2 years ago......),but ,I realised after I got home from group tonight,I won't be able to weigh in at least next Monday, and ,depending when we get back from holiday, maybe not the Monday after either.I really hope Ican stay focussed while I am away,at a festival, and not weighing in for so long,so close to target.

Weigh in last night was as expected. I gained 1/2 lb
We had a lovely celebration of our "women of the year". I was honoured to be nominated. The very worthy winner was presented with a sash and certificate and a bunch of flowers.
I was a taster evening too, so we got to try loads of low syn foods.
Anyway... onwards (and upwards)
A new week and all that!Slimming world new starter 2/1/17:D:DWeight loss so far 5 stone 8 lbs
:rotfl:Loss needed to get to target NONE!!! TARGET MEMBER0 -
Morning all,
KATHRYN, thanks so much for the chart and keeping us all on track. It is really appreciated. I do look forward to seeing everyone's progress and it keeps me inspired. Well done on all the losses and great job on SOTW BEANIE, brilliant loss, especially after the biscuit temptation!
I made a Pinch of Nom syn free lasagne last night. Made it vegetarian with Quorn mince, it was pretty good and plenty left to keep me going today and tomorrow. I don't mind eating the same thing repeated especially if it means I don't have to cook. I had it just on a bed of raw spinach leaves which wilted down a bit with the hot food on top. I'm still lurgied up (thanks for the kind thoughts btw, it cheered me up). I must be feeling under the weather because my husband bought me a twirl last night and it didn't even appeal! Normally if chocolate is in the house, it's gone!!
I do wish the weather would warm up, yesterday I hunted out my fleecy winter pjs to snuggle up in. That's not right, it's August!
I need to do some exercise but can't really face it at the moment. Normally I'm well over my step target of 12000 but the last two days I've only managed about 4000. I'm sticking to plan really well but need to move more to actually get a loss and I really want a loss this Saturday. I'm hovering on the edge of being into the next ten lb range. I edged into the 170s last week but edged back up again a fraction. I think hitting those new brackets is a real psychological boost, for me anyway. Overall I'm trying to take things in 5 lb chunks at a time, but certainly hitting a new stone bracket or ten lb bracket is a massive achievement. I'll just have to keep going. I cannot wait to get into some of my old clothes again.
Well, enough rambling. Best of luck to all today. Keep pushing on xWeight loss 2017/2018 - 49 lbs0 -
It's a miserable day but I've put out some washing on the line. It looks like we've got until about lunchtime before the rain comes so hoping it'll dry it off a bit. Will then chuck in the tumble drier to finish off! Don't want it hanging about as we're going away Thursday afternoon.
Well done Beanie on being our SOTW! A great achievement.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - butchers low fat sausages, onions in WM pitta (7 syns)
D - Fish pie; green veg (not sure what yet!)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - mini pitta 6; 2 sausages 1 syn
