WI with STS, happy with that considering my week! Was a bit better yesterday, still wobbly leg feeling after lunch and dog walk 🤔. Was ok at Jools Holland gig last night (apart from getting soaked :() although dodgy tum when I came home. Slept til 10am this morning

Over the years I've been tested for most things, coeliac, thyroid, diabetes etc but not recently. Will change my appointment on Monday even if I have to sit and wait!
:T:T:T well done, no mean feat when you feel ill, please make sure you do go, you need to get to the bottom of it xx
    Hi all.

WI today and although I was - 1lb the best bit is that I'm now 3.5 stone officially lighter.

I've realised as well by the end of this challenge, it will be a year since I joined SW so that's given me an extra incentive to reach my interim target of 4 stone.

Going to the cinema tonight so plan on eating beforehand so I don't overdo the popcorn & will take a bottle of diet Coke with me so I don't have a beer whilst watching the film.

Also had my first eat in temper bar of chocolate this week ....was only a stick of fudge so the damage wasn't too bad
    :T:T:T well done , brilliant

Thanks Maman - as a reward I bought myself the dress I've been eyeing up for a while but wouldn't buy until I got my 3.5 stone sticker....it was half price (so a little mse).

I've promised myself that when I get to 4 stone I'm going skydiving - have wanted to do that since I was 18 but always over the weight limit (!) & 4.5 stone is going to be the tattoo....so I think SW has given me a little middle life crisis lol

Lovely idea with the dress:T:T i wouldnt do the other though either:rotfl:

  • Hello all,

Yay, I'm down 3lbs!!! finally some movement!

I'm going to try really hard til next Saturday's weigh in and hopefully get another loss.

Reading here really keeps me going so thank you all so much. To all those who are poorly, please look after yourselves.

Someone suggested the asparagus recipe in the new SW magazine. I bought the ingredients today and will be trying it very soon.

Quick question, I bought a veg mix and sauce for a stir fry today. I don't really eat stir fry so could someone pls advise me what to eat with it?? Rice? Noodles?? The pack has veg and bean sprouts and I will supplement with more veg. Thanks in advance x

  • Forgot to add... this 3lb loss takes me down to the next stone bracket.

    I'm rather happy!

What noodles do you use and any idea about syn value? It's not a thing I buy or eat to be honest (apart from in a free Mugshot!)

    Thanks lovely x

I have noodles AND chips! :D

Fantastic loss msm . I find straight to wok noodles foolproof, you just stir them through the veg for a couple of minutes before serving. Amoy Udon noodles are free but I also found some in Home Bargains called Chef Quo wholewheat noodles. They're much cheaper and just half a syn.

Enjoyed my meal tonight. I was tempted by a starter which was like smoked mackerel flaked with mayo and about 6 syns of bread. My main was free (steak, salad and new potatoes), no pudding and 3 gins. So probably about 20 syns. That should be it now until WI.
