Good to see you posting tete , sorry to hear you've had a stressful time. I wouldn't wait for the next challenge if I were you. Start NOW!
Slight change of plan, had a tuna salad in Pret for lunch. A couple of syns for a drizzle of vinaigrette but that's all.:)0 -
Hi all,
-2lbs, so don't deserve it but I'm sure my excesses will catch up with me eventually :rotfl:0 -
Yay I lost 1/2 a lbwhich takes me to my target for this challenge of 7 lbs lost. It's the first time I've hit my target in these challenges so I'm happy. I'm slowly pushing onwards. I seem to have a few really good days and then hit a couple of bad days. My meals are all SW on plan but it's the syns that creep in especially chocolate at the moment. I need to knock this on the head. Imagine if I could cut out those bad days, I'd prob be a stone lighter by now! But in general I'm happy at my progress and really grateful for all the support in this thread. You are all so motivating and understanding and I appreciate it.
I read in the current SW magazine that Viscount biscuits, you know the mint ones in the green foil paper? Well they are 3.5 syns. I think this is a pretty good use of 3.5 syns so they are on my shopping list.
Sounds like some people are struggling with work issues, health issues and other sad events. My best wishes to you all for a healthy, calm and peaceful autumn xWeight loss 2017/2018 - 49 lbs0 -

Emsy I'm so with you - I don't think I've ever hit my challenge target but this week I wore a weighted vest which was just short of 2stones. Now bearing in mind I've lost 3.5 stones I couldn't believe I spent years carrying that weight around with me all the time ....so yes I'm with you as long as it goes downwards overall I don't care!
Haha, I have lost exactly the weight of my 4 year old granddaughter, and carrying her up to bed the other night I did wonder how my poor knees did that for years!Moneysaverme wrote: »I read in the current SW magazine that Viscount biscuits, you know the mint ones in the green foil paper? Oh I wish I hadn't seen this!Is there an internet equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and going 'Lalalala..':rotfl:0 -
I'm going on what I read on syns online but not quibbling over half a syn. I could dip a fair few chips in a tbsp!Cough cough cough, that's all I seem to do and I am limited to what I can take with my medication for diabetes and high blood pressure. I can only have. Simple Linctus. I have had a full bottle and it's made no difference I have also gone through a Vicks Vaporub to no avail. I think I will just have to ride it out.It was a good job I'd had my flu jab.:)
So my menu for Saturday . I don't know why I am doing it because I am not eating all I write down .
Breakfast.. porridge A/B strawberries , Raspberries.
Lunch.. A. cheese and egg on toast 6 syns. side salad. Clementine
Dinner..B.gammon s/w Chios garden peas pickled cauliflower. Apple.
Extra f f yoghurt. 2 crackerbread/butter 5 syns.
11 syns.
Funeral was sad, Auntie was the last of my father's siblings she was the last born and weighed as much as a pound of sugar a miracle for those days, my Grandmother kept her in a shoe box lined with cotton wool and she fed her with a dropper or sometimes a match dipped in milk and dropped into her mouth. But she lasted 94 years and passed away a few hours before her Birthday. May she Rest in Peace.:ATakeItEazy wrote: »Morning all :A ☀️ Is shining, looks like a great day for a wedding

Came away from WI today showing a + 1/2 lb which I thought was brilliant as I came away from the BH weekend with a 6lb gain ( yes I did go overboard )
Going to do what I did this week so will see if it was a fluke as hubby seems to think or whether I've finally hit the magic formula lol!

TIE - take care of yourself. I know a lot of people in education, at all levels & what you're experiencing seems all too familiar. Makes you wonder if there isn't something seriously wrong with the system if all grades of staff are feeling the same way.
After a year of doing SW (where has the time gone!) I've finally set a target of 5 stones......I had planned to lose 5.5 stones, and may still change it but I felt I needed to commit to something!
Planning on making the Diet Pepsi chicken tonight.....thus could be interesting!
In group 2 weeks ago the stand in consultant had 4 argos book and passed them round they weigh a stone, i could never carry 14 argos books:eek::rotfl:Hi all,

I have been sent over from the elite thread to apologise on behalf of the whole thread for allowing bubbs and SSM, to come across here and fill your thread with their posts. We have them back under lock and key, but if they manage to escape again, please feel free to just kick them back, we know what a nuisance they can both be.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
