I have been sent over from the elite thread to apologise on behalf of the whole thread for allowing bubbs and SSM, to come across here and fill your thread with their posts. We have them back under lock and key, but if they manage to escape again, please feel free to just kick them back, we know what a nuisance they can both be.

Might be able to keep up on this thread now thanks Dave :T:T:T

    Evening all :)
Bubbs, tomorrow will be the 4th Asda store I have visited and I'm yet to find the wraps :D also tried Tesco and Morrisons with no luck :( I've chased all over the East Midlands looking for them :D

Busy old day today- I've been trying on some clothes for fit to gauge how I'm doing. A size 20 outfit in Primark looked okay- still got a little bit further to go but that encouraged me. Unsure what the weekend will bring- I may either be in Rotherham on Sunday or Coventry Monday night- depending on whether the player I sponsor who is on loan to my club is playing for us or his own club. I hope it will be for us! Either way it will be difficult food wise- just need to try and keep focused.

    Today's menu:
B: HEXB overnight oats, decaf coffee with 1/2 HEXA s/s
L: Omelette with ham, mushroom and onions, salad, water
T: SW ready meal with green beans, mushrooms, broccoli, cauli, carrots. Apple, peach, water
S: Fab lolly (4 syns) 3 Crackerbreads with other half HEXA Laughing Cow Light and 3 SW sausages (3 syns) HiFi Light (3 syns)
    Syns: 10
    Steps: 10.5k
    Night all xx

I picked some up from Sutton Asda a week or so ago, but it was just after 8 in the morning though
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:

I have had a full bottle and it's made no difference I have also gone through a Vicks Vaporub to no avail. I think I will just have to ride it out.It was a good job I'd had my flu jab.:) :)

Funeral was sad, Auntie was the last of my father's siblings she was the last born and weighed as much as a pound of sugar a miracle for those days, my Grandmother kept her in a shoe box lined with cotton wool and she fed her with a dropper or sometimes a match dipped in milk and dropped into her mouth. But she lasted 94 years and passed away a few hours before her Birthday. May she Rest in Peace.:A

Arr my nan passed away last year, 12 days after her 90th. They made them tough didn't they

  • Is the next challenge til Christmas then? Didn't realise it was only 17 weeks away. Quite scary really. Had my team leader mention Christmas and inside I was thinking 'I helped out a lot last year, don't really want to work Christmas this year', so awaiting the badgering on the rota :/

But if it's only 17 weeks I might set myself the target of 18lbs before Christmas as then I'd be 14 stone and I wasn't far off it before Oz but I didn't make it do will be going on new ground lol. Quite a scary but nice thought if I can make it. But might have put some on this week as had a mini Sunday dinner at darts Wednesday then went to a quiz last night and had 2 pints of beer and a old mout cider plus finished my choolate for the week by Wednesday (I've not bought any more since mind). But last month was a funny old month work wise so I'm determined this will be quieter.

Someone said they were stressed with work - if I get worked up I blow on my thumb as it's got nerve endings that make it quite relaxing. Goodness knows where I originally heard it for but it got me through my exams years ago

    Morning all.....though it's a miserable morning here!

Well I did actually manage to cook the Diet Coke chicken & even though a) I have the culinary skills of Butterflies' Ria & b) hubby & son pulled a face when I told them what I was planning for dinner, it actually went down very well lol.

I'm cooking a chilli later on to have tonight & if I can be asked to go to the shops I might try cauli rice with it (though I think that might be a step too far for the others) after kayaking tonight.

I'm yet to try & make the wraps.....does anyone know what stewed steak from ASDA is free - is it ASDA's own make with the purple label? perhaps that could be my next culinary challenge - hey if I keep on going like this, I'll be on masterchef - though wouldn't that be a brilliant thing someone who cooked SW meals?

Sunshine - Christmas for us is easy as we're a really small family & don't tend to buy presents for each other; the son gets money & a few token presents & mum gets experiences as her house is full of clutter...sorry ornaments!..... as it is!!
