Well I did actually manage to cook the Diet Coke chicken & even though a) I have the culinary skills of Butterflies' Ria & b) hubby & son pulled a face when I told them what I was planning for dinner, it actually went down very well lol.
I'm cooking a chilli later on to have tonight & if I can be asked to go to the shops I might try cauli rice with it (though I think that might be a step too far for the others) after kayaking tonight.
I'm yet to try & make the wraps.....does anyone know what stewed steak from ASDA is free - is it ASDA's own make with the purple label? perhaps that could be my next culinary challenge - hey if I keep on going like this, I'll be on masterchef - though wouldn't that be a brilliant thing someone who cooked SW meals?
Sunshine - Christmas for us is easy as we're a really small family & don't tend to buy presents for each other; the son gets money & a few token presents & mum gets experiences as her house is full of clutter...sorry ornaments!..... as it is!!
I did not know you were a kayaker... or on our house a yaker. My boys kayak, I spent their teenage years driving up and down the country, camping in wet fields. I was so please when they passed their driving licence... but did not sleep when they did Nepal (separately)
I fell off the wagon yesterday, and off the curb, chair, doorway..... I blame a certain lady encouraging consumption of gin:D:D:D. OMG we ended up eating pizza! So today I have a big pan of speed food cooking - my food for the next few days.
You are lucky with Christmas we are both from huge families. First priority is I have to get parcels ready for DS1 and his lady to send to Thailand, and parcels for our plus 2 kids who are living in China at the moment. Then there is UK based family but they are at the top of Scotland, and the bottom on England... and millions of them in the middle.....if I miss someone it will offend which is defiantly not worth it in OH's family. I do a thoughtful token gesture for the adults, something nice for the kids but I do like to spoil my kids and their partners. OH, well I will give him something I got for free! .... lol

I tried the cauli rice yesterday.
Quite liked it actually.

Hi everyone, hope your weekend is going well so far.
Just been to Buffet Island (chinese) as hubby was at work this morning and we didn't want to cook.
It's freezing here in Birmingham and it's raining.
Am not happy with my consultant at the moment - remember I said I got voted as Woman Of The Year in my group and there is an event at a hotel in Walsall next Sunday the 10th but she couldn't come with me as she's away on holiday. Well I asked her about it at group yesterday and she said she would chase it up and confirm the details to me by the end of yesterday and I've heard nothing, so I don't know if I am on the list to go. I know the name of the hotel, but no other details as to what time etc. My consultant has gone to Cyprus today, so the chances are now it's off. She gave me the SW board to decorate, but I haven't done it yet though.
I am very grateful to be voted for by the group, but I'm a bit disappointed considering all the money I've spent on going to group and I give up my valuable time to help out on the social team.
Rant over, lol!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -

Lol, I'm not really a kayaker .....I'm learning in the safety of our local swimming pool!
I started as we had planned to go to Norway but that idea seems to have gone on the back burner for the moment though I would like to try it outdoors.
Beanielou did you try a ready prepared one or did you make it yourself?0 -
Abbafan - can't you 'forget' she going on holiday & text her?
Must admit I'd be annoyed as well!0 -

I do apologise for leading people stray with the gin plan.:o My defence is that it's more SW friendly than the wine plan but I'm not taking the blame for the pizza!
I'm sure kathrynha will confirm but we would normally have two challenges between now and the end of the year: one up to Halloween and then another up to Christmas.:)
That's really poor customer service from your consultant abbafan. If e has her mobile she might contact you still. I'd keep texting/emailing her for information.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA mil for drinks
L: ham, fried veg, beetroot (SP lunch)chicken, SW roast potatoes, various Speed veg
Syns: gravy, more gin:o0 -

The boys started in a pool, they received 1-2-1 tuition for £1... unbelievablly good value. When they lost the use of the pool, they moved to a pond in winter. We just went to have a look, the boys ran on and by the time we got to the right part, the chaps had them in kit and on the water... it was freezing. I got used to making hot chocolate!
I would wait until spring to try it outside....:D:D:D:DI do apologise for leading people stray with the gin plan.:o My defence is that it's more SW friendly than the wine plan but I'm not taking the blame for the pizza!
