    Only managed 60k today. Not feeling it so turned around early. Its a bit like when when you go out for a sesh on a Friday night and the 1st pint does not go down well, you just know there is no point in carrying on. Tomorrow is walking and exercise reps.

    WI tonight. Lost 4.5lbs Very happy but another half pound would have given me my stone award. Did get SOTW :cool:

    We had a taster session tonight so I took in A Key Lime and Blackberry Cheesecake from from the new Desserts book. I did not get a piece! It went down a real treat.

    Off down to see DS this weekend in Suffolk so staying in a Premier Inn. Just love the all you can eat Breakfast! Not sure we will be able to stay on track but will try to.

    Only 60 km.... you could have cycled to Suffolk!

    Well done :T:T:T

    So today I have STS... not surprising as I am immobile, but at least I have not put weight on.

    Have a great holiday kathrynha. You deserve a break.:A

    :Twell done to bubbs, merlin and wiz on yesterday's losses. How did Hazel get on?

    Hotel breakfasts can be very SW friendly merlin. I'd avoid sausages, black pudding and hash browns but other than a bit of oil you can pile up the bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and eggs for very few syns. Fruit or SW friendly cereal is often available to start. Bread's a bit iffy as it's generally just brown rather than wholemeal.

    I've written down what I had yesterday that had syns in them (before I forget) but not estimated the values yet. My meal was good but the cheese, crackers and multiple gins were not.:o

    Today we're off to a barbecue lunch. My friend is a great cook so there'll be a HM pudding and I'll have to try a little to be polite. I hope there's chicken and maybe lamb chops or something as sausages and burgers are difficult to estimate especially as they buy them form a local butcher.

    SW try to make it sound so easy but eating out is definitely a problem IMO. I think I'm just going to have to take the hit and get back on it tomorrow until the next time.....

    Have a good day all.:)

    That's good ssm. I think Friday is the best WI day too, for obvious reasons.:D

    I'm still convinced though that you can lose weight without exercise. It's the food (and drink) that make the majpr difference. I'm not knocking exercise for it's toning and feel good factor but it's not essential.

    Sadly I am hobbling like a 90 year old woman. OH brought me crutches yesterday, but I cannot use them as I hurt my right shoulder as well.

    I do think I need to be able to move to be able to lose weight as I love my food too much x

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hopefully I will get mobile over the weekend, and back on gentle walking next week (I don't break into a sweat!.... lol).
