Rain here today. Lots and lots of it. Hoping it isn't going to be a repeat of 2007.

Wall to wall sunshine here all day. Alas rain is forecast tomorrow and Sunday...just perfect for our carnival weekend
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Here yesterday it started raining in the afternoon and by 5pm it was chucking it down .... weather then turned really vile with hammering/driving rain relentlessly tipping down and pretty wild winds... until it got dark.

Today: bright, but cooler, little breezy, clouds that look like it could go either way.

EDIT 9.53: And it's just started raining... again.

I think these are good, much better than i was expecting (nearer 50 -60) but don't really know what "good" is.

I'm not fibre, but it's also downloading quite a big file.

Allegedly it'll run at 'up to 17mbps', and actually does most of the time.

Just out of interest, who are you with Viva?

I'm with BT, but didn't take the upgrade to the superfast fibre, just the standard fibre which is supposed to give about 50mbps here. DH ran the same test shortly after and got just over 20mbps. I wonder what difference firewalls make. I just ran mine on a tablet.

Well, even though the forecast was pants for today (and our local carnival) and we woke to rain and lots of puddles, the rain cleared away by 8am and the day was absolutely glorious until around 6.30 when we had a little shower. So pleased the efforts of the very hard working carnival committee was not spoiled by the weather...although we still have to get through tomorrow but at least the procession (52 floats) was done in glorious (and hot) sunny weather.
