Looks a tank to me, have to be a weight lifter to steal that!

Perhaps they should specialise in stealing the inks.

That was supposed to be a numerous comment, but my emoticons aren't working...

Shouldn't worry...... I have old tabletitis!

On some posts I spend far longer correcting and editing that I do actually writing the original post!

This one doesn't seem to like the bottom row of letters, especially the c, and I wish I had a £ for every time I get a , instead of a space. Sigh.

And that's before the automoron starts sticking its oar in! :D

Well Joe has moved into the Ipad repair business....Josh's Ipad air had the battery fail and as it was fairly old, Apple could do nothing (without us paying mega money) Joe bought it from him for £40, purchased a new battery and then followed the 131 steps needed to fix it.

Ok, he then bricked it again when he was seeking perfection and he had to replace the digitiser but for less than £100, he now has a working Ipad air and gained essential knowledge.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I have a windows tablet which needs a new battery, there is only 1 takedown vid on youtube that just says 'pop the plastic clips holding the case on - how long have I spent on this and how much pressure have I applied but I can not even do step one. I blame the manufacturers for making it too robust.

MY DD2s tablet has a cracked digitiser screen and I have purchased a replacement and their are instructions on youtube but as it works fine with the cracks currently I am letting discretion be the better par tof valour, no point putting on a beautiful uncracked screen if in the process I break something essential.

And finally, my latest hot uk deals posting has stalled at 96 degrees. If it makes it to 100 it will appear on the 'hot' list and hopefully then get more heat. There is absolutely nothing in it for me so I shouldn't care but somehow I do.

The trouble with most things is they don't explain in which direction, how, with how much pressure - and if you're doing it the wrong way then bits snap off.

Sometimes I wonder if using a tiny screwdriver to burrow under will help me with the flipping of a catch, or if it'll just speed up the time you're waiting until you break it.

Nothing is obvious/straight forward...and there's no need for it!

I've never used/seen used a tablet.... I bet I'd not understand what it can do, how to do it....

In the youtube teardown vid the guy cuts from a close up of where he cut his finger whilst trying to get in to the moment when the case is pretty much off and he is just lifting it off.....
