I think for most it is the ice rather than the snow which causes the issues and falling in it can have horrible consequences, so don't worry about being a wimp, on the contrary, you are being sensible!
I'm seriously thinking about getting a taxi to work later on, not because of the worry of driving but because a taxi can get even closer than I can park my car (the back road to the work carpark is completely blocked and no close parking to the front) and because of the icy pavements, might be the safer option.
However my more immediate concern is that I am almost at the end of the toilet roll and it is the last one!:rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Do you know, I always have a mountain of loo-rolls and teabags in the house. (In case I don't feel well enough to go shopping at times, and etc.)
I am phobic about running out of loo-rolls, and I neeeeeeeed my green tea.
People laugh, but I don't care! Plus I buy the loo-rolls when they're on offer, so it makes sense.
And no, I never get them mixed up! :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)

I normally do but money has been pretty tight. I thought I had enough to get me through to today when I get some money but unfortunately, there isn't!
I should just about be ok but I must must must remind myself to get some more when I go to work otherwise it could get very messy tonight.:rotfl:We made it! Ah, you've heard about my long term plan :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
In the interim it's definitely better having more hair on the chin coz I can always wear a wooly hat on top - but it tends to fall off the chin0 -
Been snowing all morning here.
DS2's birthday today, so he is off work.
Won't get to see him but the GF is looking after him. Was meant to be going out and thinking of walking 2 miles rather than driving. Down here, where all the warnings are saying "OMG" on the telly .... it must be coming later as there's nothing more beyond the scattering that was present at first light.
This is up the road from me

I've got three 18-packs under the stairs .... you can never have enough. I always pick up 1-2 packs when I'm in home bargains. In fact, there might even be a 18-pack in the boot of the car as I don't bring all my purchases into the house immediately if they're not the sort of thing that needs to immediately come into the house and my hands are already full of other stuff. There's four kitchen towels in the car too, awaiting the time when I want them or want to clear the car out
But I can't do home deliveries to your road0 -

Now, if you kept them in the bathroom they could serve as a soft cushion on which to land when you fall out of the bath after opening/closing the window :rotfl:0
