    Where is everyone???

Finally back home from caravan, so been on the road for around three and a half hours.

House is chilly despite heating being on twice a day while we've been away (since 3 Nov) but the upside is there don't seem to be moths around. :)

Sitting in bed with a hot water bottle now, going to watch Channel 4 at 8pm, Julie Walters on trains in Wales, looks as if Ffestiniog Railway may feature.

    Shivering still!

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Oh, ivyleaf, I am so sorry to hear that. Sending thoughts and hugs and prayers for your whole family.

It is, and thank you. In time, and when you are ready, you and other members of your family may like to know about another organisation I've just been asked to get involved with... https://www.ataloss.org aims to provide a one stop shop website where anybody suffering any kind of bereavement whatsoever can get signposted to the national or local bereavement organisations that are relevant to their circumstances and their location.

Ivyleaf, sorry to hear your news.

LydiaJ, it's lovely that you can give back to the community in this way. Making something good come out of your bad experience.

We had lunch out with the boys and DS2-GF.

DS1 has generally not been that good at looking after his clothes, they may be washed but they always seem to look tired. The last 2/3 times we've seen him they look as good as new. I commented today and he revealed that there are now laundry apps. So the house as a group sends off their washing and it comes back perfectly pressed/ cleaned/ ironed. He reckons that with bulk discount and loyalty codes etc it is fairly reasonable.

Lydiaj may I put a link to your post on another thread where a poster I know has just lost a brother?
