I had to check to see whose it was.... I can never tell what date I gave when I join a site, I often don't like to use my real date.

    I've got the lurgy. :(

The sneezing seems to have stopped. The throat is no longer like razor blades.
However, still a bit streamy, it's turned into cough and I'm wheezing.
Been in bed since Tues night.:(

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    Definitely the waterfalls at Iguazu.

Buenos Aires was interesting and enjoyable.

Rio was contradictory, it was meant to be the relaxing part of the holiday. The city is too edgy, I felt nervous whenever we were out of the safe confines of the hotel.

    Happy Birthday, silvercar!

For those that might remember that far back, I bought chewy’s car from him three years ago. I’ve just sold it, 78,000 miles later!

Bit of a story, slightly unorthodox transaction. Buyers came to see it on Wednesday, I had already said I would get a new MOT for it, so it was waiting at the nechanic’s garage today for us to meet.

I rushed home from a meeting, picked up the paperwork and spare key, did a quick ‘have i got my keys’ moment, walked out the door, slammed it and then realised I had the key for a car that was 4 miles away and not my actual car or house keys.

Called a taxi, promised 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I’m freezing on my driveway and the buyers are at the garage.

Cancelled taxi, buyers have transferred funds to my account, lady at the garage has handed over the car and they are coming to me sitting in my nearest old man’s pub. I am wearing bright red heels with tassles, fancy handbag and a short dress. Not quite the attire for an old man’s pub at 4pm.

Anyhoo, they have come to the pub, I have handed over the paperwork and the spare key.

I can now relax with my very large glass of Malbec :rotfl:

I lock myself out quite regularly. Doozer has found a lock for our new house where you can open the house with your phone, not a key. I never forget my phone!

I do hope that chewy, Mrs chewy and the twins are well. I miss him.

You could always have a keysafe.
