FBO, Huge hugs to you xxx I hope you enjoy the dive today.
Valli - that's fab news :j x
Piggers - hope you are feeling brighter (and less hungry) this morning x
Is it lunchtime yet?! :rotfl: They were all up at 5.30 so have been fed and are currently playing nicely-ish. Plan is to head to the park or soft play depending on the weather. I currently have a chicken in the oven which will form the basis of theirs and my meals for the weekend.
Best get on, I am being hollered! x
Thanks for the kind thoughts. Unfortunately dive was a zero visibility quarry. I should have stayed in bed - BD meant I panicked at depth and we had a rapid ascent. Then I managed to fall while crossing a stile with my twinset on. I've crushed DH's finger. We are in A&E waiting to see orthopaedic surgeon.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Oh crikey FBO you couldn't make it up xxx
Somewhat busy here. Spent 2.5hrs at rehearsal, whereby a 3 year old dancer showed me how my phone camera does "photo burst" :rotfl: she then proceeded to take eleventy-billion pictures on my phone, many of which were her fingers
she is my new best friend. Rehearsals were brill, but hot. 2 of us are in charge of the small ones, 8 and under I think, and they are great kids. I'll be taking jelly babies and lots of water...
Came home and DD has gone to the theatre with granny, DS is out somewhere with gramps then they went for tea. Meanwhile I have been to buy more milk and salad, chipped all the beading off and got rid, vacced the car out, tidied the kitchen and I'm just having a coffee as who knows when they'll be back.
Tomorrow I need to remove the shoe cupboard and all the picture hooks, and take down the curtain rails.
I'm bushed!Bossymoo

Sorry you had a bad dive, FBO. How is your DH?
I broke up the two larger fence panels this afternoon, but decided that there was too much rubbish to fit into my little car. When DH came home from the railway (an hour later than I had expected him) I fed him, then loaded everything into the back of his car which is far roomier than mine. I have also cleared some bits that have been cluttering up the utility for weeks
I'll take it all to the tip tomorrow in exchange for his help in putting in the two new smaller fence panels and removing (hopefully in one piece) the one old panel that just needs repairing and repainting - but I think I'll leave slotting in the large ones to him and the NDN later in the week.
I also cut back the rambling roses and other shrubs even more to make it easier to slot in the new panels, swept the neighbour's lawn and parking area where I broke up the fence, cooked a roast dinner and did QHI while I was waiting for DH
Might try to deal with a big frog this evening... I'm in the zone! :rotfl:0 -
Thankfully after 3 hrs it was confirmed as non career ending. He's now got a beer. I wish I could have a glass of something stronger than Diet Pepsi. He's looking at a long recovery/rehab, but we will survive.
Thanks for all the good wishes.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Well I succeeded in doing the washing up, but the hoovering fell by the wayside. However I did manage to !!!!! out all seedlings, and while I was on the phone to my Dad DH counted up the pots- 29 seed trays, 63 pots
I admire your willpower Iona, I just can't seem to get myself motivated at all.
Sending healing vibes to your DH FBO and coping vibes to yourself. I take it there'll be no more diving for a bit?0 -
Morning all,
Oh FBO
you couldn't make this up could you. I really hope it heals quickly. Are the two of you able to have some time away a bit, together, to just "be" at this difficult time? x
Kiddies are being super good but I'm flagging a bit now. Will be very happy when 4pm arrives! Easy tea of scampi and chips tonight for me! Unlike most people I am looking forward to Monday :rotfl: as I only have 2 hours paid stuff then intend to relax, childfree, for the rest of the day!
I have unloaded the DW and am having a cuppa. Will feed everyone shortly then perhaps stick a film on for them.
Have marvellous Sundays all xMFW

Would be wonderful if we could:mad: Unfortunately, DH has two weeks annual leave (starting after this week of nights he can't now do) We were going to do the West Highland Way but the NHS screwed that up by putting his mandatory educational meeting half way through the leave period so we cancelled and I have said I'm available to start temping from 1st July.
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. Actually, scratch that. I know what I want to do, but if I start I won't stop and I have too much to do today.
On that note. Off to make up spare room for guests.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Morning,
A rather slow start here today. Someone has found an old FB ad for DS bike, and has messaged me. So that might sell today :money: kerching. I also stalked her profile and she has a little girl too so I will strategically hang DD outgrown princess dresses nearby and see if they are any good to her too
I'm going stick a wash on (but wet here) and then crack on with decorator prep!
Hope things start to look up for you FBO hang in there xxxBossymoo

Aw (hugs) FBO so sorry you're having a trying time. But you are still strong and I admire you for the demon you have fought and are still fighting and winning.
Have stripped DS's bed, will strip mine. Cleaned hallway, washed cat litter tray and front door as an eagle or a vulture, or maybe even an ostrich left a visiting card thereon.
Oh I have caught up with the ironing, too and run the DW.
And, in keeping with my siggy both meals yesterday yielded extras (2 portions from each) of freezable SW goodies, so I now have 2 quarters of SW quiche (crustless) and two portions of BBQ (Skinless and boneless) chicken thighs in the freezer.
I'm doing either chilli or bolognaise today...mince thawing, so that will be even more for the freezer!
Bossy - I so admire your cunning plan...fingers crossed;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Foiled again Valli
the dad turned up and despite me saying age 6-8 it turns out his son is older than DS and daughter older than DD <rollseyes>
So they can't really have our grown-out of stuff. Ah well.
Polyfilla done, just needs sanding. Dining room tidied, dusted and vacced. Shoes sorted, some will need to go upstairs!
Ooo ice cream van here!Bossymoo
