All jobs done, except the plants, also made jelly worms with DD and marinated some chicken for a bbq later (fingers crossed the weather holds).

Having a sit down for a bit while DD is having a nap, going to go through a bit of family history info.

Mattress covers hanging out to dry. That meant that I had to change DD's bed, so I might do WM number 3 in a bit to get that and other bits out of the way.
Went to Mr S because I had a voucher, and got a petrol voucher in return:money:. DH will be pleased with that when he comes to fill up. Also nipped into Dune!m while I was nearby and got black out curtains for our room. They've been on my list for a while and we even had a leftover gift voucher to buy them with, but I never quite got round to it. Another job done.
Kitchen, utility room and bathroom floors all vacummed and mopped. DW running. I'm waiting for the floors to dry...that's my excuse for sitting down eating an iced bun and I'm sticking to it!
Out volunteering later. It's really too hot to go, but we are already one short, so not a lot of choice. :(

((Hugs)) to Iona. I hope you get to your meeting this afternoon and have some me time.
((Hugs)) and take care to FBO.

    Hola!

    "schools out for summer"

Yaaay! We had a little tea party and exchanged cards, aww.

Whizzed home, unpacked my bags, made an indoor pen - I am a softie and don't like the thought of them being out when thunder and lightning is forecast :o I'll bring them in after school run.

I'm hoping we can pop up to town after school to get DS a haircut then I might take them for some food to a new cafe I've heard good things about (they don't advertise as such, but they do slimming world friendly recipes!).

Have brought washing in, so will fold that all up in a mo. Not sure what else I'll get done in the next 30 min...

    Morning all

FBO you're like me in that every little helps; I don't always earn very much for my typing but if I didn't do it I wouldn't earn anything so it makes sense doesn't it.

How do you earn money from typing if I might ask please?

    Phew!

I am slumped in a sweaty heap on the sofa! MiL has taken DD swimming, and DS is watching TV. We are all very very hot and sticky!

Did 6 hours paid stuff, and managed to squeeze in a post office trip and trip to the pharmacy. Chicken pasta for dinner so limited cooking effort needed!

    See you all tomorrow x

Afternoon all. Better late than never for me this week, just about keeping up with the dailies.

Hope you're all ok. I will attempt to do bathroom jobs tomorrow. For now I need to relax in the garden with the paper.

    Have a great evening everyone.

    6) Re-plan meals. Ate crap yesterday so tonight is what I took out for me for last night. Also now out on Thursday.
    8) Hoover Stairs, Hall and Spare bedrooms

[STRIKE]1) Strip bed and remake. Wash bedding[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]2) Freezer audit and Tetris for delivery.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]3) Phone call with Career advisor. Make LOTS of plans:rotfl:[/STRIKE] Delayed active work until end of August. My head isn't in the right place and don't want to waste the 3 months I get. Have some reading to do before then.
    4) Bake blueberry muffins
    5) Make up spare room just in case.
    6) Clear study - do ALL the filing and try and locate my yoga sheets.
    7) Do some form of exercise - I've missed yoga and I'm not sure I'll have the energy for boxing tonight. Might try a DVD.
    8) [STRIKE]Right[/STRIKE] Write myself a timetable. I need set things and times. I can feel the depression creeping up and that is dangerous.

Not doing well. The black dog has its teeth sunk in.

Ah, FBO I'm sorry to hear that, do you have any tried and tested techniques to send him scarpering? Mine is a list of small achievable things I can tick off, to see progress. Oh and painting my nails to keep my hands busy. X
