Cancelled sky - what are my options?

I had sky Q fitted yesterday, as did my daughter 8 miles away.
I had mine installed & was told it's an extra £20 for the Touchscreen remote, so I paid by card, it will be posted to me.

An hour later, my daughters is fitted & she's handed the touchscreen remote for free!

I rang sky today to get my £20 back, I'm not paying for something they are giving other customers for free.

They'd give me £15 or a &20 M&S or Tesco voucher, for the principle of the matter I wouldn't accept it, I wanted my full £20.

So I've ended up cancelling. Part of the cancellation involves me getting my £20 back!!! So I've had my refund.

What now?

I've got a dish, no real Ariel.

Do I go to a sky competitior or do I get a free box.

I want the ability to record on the box & series link.
Don't watch sports, I have Netflix so I'm not bothered about film channels.

Just want to record programmes on channels 1 to 5.

You could buy a freesat box with a hard drive to record programmes

Mine is 1tb. I think hers is the same.
Hers was £5 cheaper.

1TB boxes are usually only supplied with one remote the standard one and neither are "Touchscreen".

So I could buy this. Unplug the sky q box & plug this in instead & away I go?

Anyway to find out what channels I'll get?

I must have 1-5 & qvc , I suspose I'll loose sky Atlantic & game of thrones:(
