I received this mail, very deceptive, in the mail a few days ago. The thing that gave it away, though, is that it mentions a date (10th June) that is still in future!!!
I have forwarded it to the <spoof@paypal.com>. Here it goes:

what a load of nonsense...it would be quite easy to see that the account is active...hardly inacctive if we've been selling like its going out of fashion these past few weeks

The only thing that baffled me was that the link you had to click started with.... http://www.paypal.com
but ended with /cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run
Does this meant that a script will be activated if i clicked on the link??

Yes, that's one of the best ways to tell if they're spoof or not, the link often leads to an IP address in the web browser and this of course means that it is not the genuine eBay, PayPal sites, although I can see why a newbie would be very tempted to respond to these e-mails.Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0
