As A BT fibre customer, with cheap sim only deal I regularly am connected to free BT WIFI on my UK travels.
I cannot find clarification as to whether I switched to another provider that such would occur (to new provider if their hubs allow or what).
So any tool that provides guidance on sim only deals and WIFI UK connectivity on travels would assist.
No you lose all BT free wifi .It becomes the BT paid for wifi .

Ha ha yes you're supposed to.  I left BT broadband 6 years ago and moved to Plusnet but retained my BT SIM card (£5 per month which was discounted from £10 due to me having BT broadband).  I expected the discount to end and also the BT free wi fi but neither have done so. I upgraded my data plan to 5gb per month and now pay the princely sum of £8 month for that and still have access to BT Wi Fi wherever I go and it's available

Not too surprising because Plusnet are owned by BT.

This broadband tool is not very good. It's giving me all sorts of fibre deal options when I know I can't get fibre. Maybe it needs its address database updating.

The tool results are pretty cluttered, I would like to see whether the company does credit checks with green for no and red for yes.
I also want to see colour coding for the deductions, green for account credit within 60 days, amber if longer,  RED if you have to claim in a time window and if the offer is for amazon vouchers or mastercard.

As MSE does analytics it should be able to report on how many click through and how many are recorded payouts.

I also want the length of contract more prominently displayed in the deal box next to the price, e.g. 15.00 for 12 months

  • Possibly off subject but would it be possible to add a filter that cuts out all the "first time customer only" deals in banking and broadband, Have changed so often very few on the list are suitable and can we have a much longer list of possibility's so we can see more choice please. Have posted this here as I couldn't find a way to contact the site directly.

You need to ask MSE that question /
We're always happy to hear about deals we might have missed, let us know by emailing the details to unbundled@moneysavingexpert.com. We'll take a look to see if it's good enough to include.
