Thanks so much everyone.
So glad we had our LBM and that I took the plunge to do this diary. Hand on heart I know we wouldn't have achieved all this without me writing it all down and get the support along the way.My LBM May 2017, DH LBM July 2017- Total Debt (not Including Mortgage) £46444.23 £40773.61 /£46444.23 87.8% paid0 -

Back into the swing of things with routine now that school is back and I'm back at work. My little morning and evening to do lists have made an appearance again to make sure nothing is forgotten.
Was able to find free parking this week so with the money I've saved I've paid some off the mbna.
£1 selling fee on 3bay this weekend so I'm going to try and get some items on. Still had no luck with V1nted so might get rid of that.

Been a very busy couple of weeks. Feel like there's just not enough time in the day.
Currently nursing a cold so feeling a little run down.
I didn't get round to listing anything last time on 3bay. However, it's another £1 selling fee this weekend so I'm going to make efforts then.
We've finally got round to putting up the new fencing. We just have the gate section to do and we're all good. It looks great. DH has done a fantastic job. So glad we didn't hire someone to do it.
Theres been a little worry at DH work of late. It had slowed down and of course DH would be first to be let go should a scenario like that happen as he was last in. Nothing has been officially said to him so it could be the good old rumour mill doing its business. I think there's just a lot of worry what with Brexit round the corner. Over the last few days DH tells me that work is picking up so may just be a little slump. He'll have been there for a year come the 1st October.

End of the month round up.
Following the worries at DHs work things haven't improved a great deal. It's so very quiet. DH hasn't been told anything but he is worried. He applied for another job on a higher starting pay than he's on now. He's been offered the job! He just need to confirm how much he'd be paid on first pay day to see whether we can financially do it before he accepts.
Also didn't get round to listing anything on 3bay last time. Grrrrr. I've set a few auctions up ready to go live during next £1 max selling fee weekend.
Not a huge amount else to update really. Life has been hectic with full time work etc.

It's been one busy busy month.
Firstly DH went for the new job. He only had to work a weeks notice at the old job and he started at the new one on the 14th. There was a week in between when he was technically not employed. No matter how we tried to figure things out it meant we were going to have a tight few weeks regardless. It's the whole difference in a pay dates etc.
But, he's on 3k more a year, he's got a brand new company car which they pay tax, insurance and work related fuel. Yes there is a company car tax thing he has to pay but as it's a Hybrid car I'm led to believe it's not such a huge amount. Also when DH queried this tax they increased his wage to accommodate that!! He's got a new work phone and laptop. He gets to work from home at times now too. Such a relief when it comes to children sickness etc. Of course it comes with high targets but DH feels able to achieve this.
It also transpires that he was head hunted for the role via 1 need. He thought he'd applied for it as he sent his CV to loads of places. Bit of a boost to his ego!
When he handed in his notice at his old job his manager said it was a good move. His manager was also looking to move on. Between them they suspect the opening of a larger site (part of the same company) resulted in work being deliberately redirected from their site. It meant there was literally no work coming in putting their jobs at risk.
With the new job came 2 weeks of him working away. Wow that was stressful.
All this job change has meant cutting back on the overpayments until we get settled into the new wage payment date etc. It's meant my hope to pay of 12k this year have been scuppered.
This weekend just gone was full of sickness in the house again, 3 out of 4 kiddies hit. Timing impeccable again as it's now half term and I have the week off work. In all the washing and cleaning and caring I stumped my little toe into a baby gate and I reckon it's most likely brokenNot much I can do about it though.
