  • What a lovely post, you should be so proud of all you've achieved this year. I know I've said this before but I really don't know how you do it. Totally understand about work helping with your sanity though, I'm exactly the same v;)
Hope the little ones are all recovering from the chicken pox & that you've managed to get some time to yourself over the Christmas period.
All the best for the new year, your 2020 plans sound really well thought out and achievable, look forward to watching your debt tumbling down through the year.
  • I am in awe of you Mummy bear. Four young children and working full time while paying off more than £1k a month in debt is brilliant. As you say though having steady employment helps. Getting rid of the student loan is great and having that extra money at your disposal after February 2021 will certainly help with your intended move. Good luck for 2020.

  • Well in to the new year now. Nothing amazing to report. Settled back to work and the kids back to school. Tried to pick up over time for today but it was cancelled yesterday which is a shame.

Sorted through feisty preschoolers clothes recently. She's almost 4 and she is the height of the average 5 year old. The twins are also growing at different rates. One has moved up to the 18-24 month group whilst the other is still in the 12-18 month and looks like she will for some time. So glad I don't dress them the same it would cost so much.

Weight loss plan is going well. 1.5 lbs off in a week. Slow and steady works for me. Although today I've eaten lots of naughty food ...oops...hopefully got that out my system.

  • Hi everyone.

Since my last post the feisty preschooler turned 4. My DS calls her sassy and that's a very good description. She's turning into a lovely natured child after a very stormy couple of years as the tornado toddler. Honestly starting preschool has been the making of her.

We got her a bike. It was free! A colleague at work as a daughter a couple of yrs older who didn't show much interest in her bike and it was practically new. He refused any money. Feisty preschooler was most pleased :)

You're such a well oiled machine. I'm amazed. You just keep bringing it down. I think your goals are great and you can smash it. I totally understand your want to move. Didn't expect twins when you bought it!

With the weight loss I find it so hard as you go through so many periods with such pathetic weight loss despite such dedication. Or you just fall off the wagon. Just keep at it. It doesn't matter as long as you get back on it. That's my plan anyway.

One more year of debt payments and your house dreams will be a reality xxx

  • That MBNA CC is almost gone!! The Santander loan should also dip below £2k next month. Keep up the good work.
