Oooo first update for me on the new look forum.

Took a while to actually find where I get to my thread.

I notice past emojis no longer work and I can't see how to edit the colour of my text...I mainly only use my tablet. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Been the usual busy. Managed to bag some overtime too.

Had a bit of bad news about my rheumatoid arthritis this week.  I need to go on more aggressive drugs. The twins still breastfeed and take a lot of comfort from it.  They're not going to understand why we have to stop   I just can't continue with the pain and swelling anymore.

The weight loss is happening albeit slowly. I've lost 5lbs in 5 weeks. It's all in the right direction though.

  • Morning, first day of half term and I'm off with the kiddies. I think today is the only day where its not forecast to rain all day. Hoping to get out to a local park.

Had a few DDs come out but I'll update figures later.

Still not getting my head around this new forum.

I'm using my phone at the moment... So that may be the issue BUT

    1) Can anyone tell me if I'm on a thread how I can jump quickly to the first page

    2) How I locate all the threads I've subscribed to and continue reading from where I left off?

    Cheers

I think if you turn your phone to landscape you can get back to page 1. As for ones you have subscribed to, if you click
on the ‘head’ to the right of your thread at the top it should bring up some symbols below. The one in the middle is bookmarked threads. It’s fiddly on the phone but if you get it I saved this page to my home screen and then when I want to read diaries or find my own I just open that as a separate tab rather than navigating from the forum. Hope that makes sense.

When you have it, it’s really good as it tells you how many posts since the last time you read and if you don’t get chance to read all the diaries you have bookmarked it’s still there when you go back rather than the old style that would look like you’d read them all. HTH.
  • Oh thanks so much. The landscape works 😊

Off to try the bookmarked threads tip..

  • Thanks so much @PurpleFairy26. So many more buttons are available to see and click on landscape

Yesterday was a good day out.. And free. Its always daunting taking all 4 out on my own and I did have a battle getting the twins back in their pram after the swings (they were tired though) but it went well.

We're going to have an indoor day today.

I'm going through the impossible battle of weaning the twins from breastfeeding. Not because I want to or that they're even ready but because I have to. 😔. I have to start new meds soon, I've put it off so long. It's proving so difficult. They're going to be 20 months on Saturday 😮
