Bellag- yours do not look lopsided! You've got us all very envious of your attempts!

Shelley- hhmm a baby powder candle sampler eh! Think that's been done somewhere before although did like the idea of baby bottom butter!

I'm really getting into the idea of swaddledesigns! Have emailed the London wholesaler aswell. Think the cakes would look amazing with the blankets and matching muslins!

Thank you all for your lovely compliments on my cakes. It's spurred me on now!!!

Becs - beautiful website you found. I wonder what the prices are like! Found a good Toy website for you. They sell all the big names - Gund, Jelly Cat, Miffy - everything. I don't think it is wholesale though! www.cuddlykingdom.com/

What about putting a gift inside. A beautiful snow globe, or musical box or lovely picture frame.

    Will keep thinking!!!
  • Oooopps yes just checked and she does use them!!!! I love that scent too!!!
Sorry Becs didnt want to start a nappy cake war with you and her so ignore my suggestion LOL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks Shelley,

    will investigate the steiff bears.

Been looking on the swaddledesigns website at the celebs using them!

Moonpenny- The blankets are £18 retail and the burp cloths are £14 for 2 so hopefully be quite a bit cheaper wholesale.

Bellag, your cakes are beautiful and not at all lob - sided. You should be really proud of them. You should have seen the amount of pics I took to get straight one!!!LOL.

Don't you think it's strange that everyone has a slightly different style. That's what I love about seeing everyones cakes.

That's why I wondered if they were too plain because of all the lovely stuff you have on yours.

Thanks Shelley for the tip on toy sizes. Think it will be a while though before I will be paying even £5 for a toy. (Up to now, most i've paid is £3.50 and that killed me!)

Becs, price of blankets and burp clothes made me think I ought to take up my old hobby of sewing again. Maybe I could become a supplier!!! I saw a lovely video on a US site last wk, making burp cloths and it got me thinking.
