Hi Moonpenny,
I think they're gorgeous! I love them simpler as I think they look very elegant. Very nice indeed!

well guys I'm stuck!
Been trawling through dozens of professional sites for ideas of how I can do these cakes for this extremely classy fayre! I'm generally happy with the outer appearance of the cakes so just want to work on the contents. Looking at John Lewis for fleece balnkets they're £9 which is ok. Sleepsuits are £12 for 5 which again is ok and bodysuits are £8 for 7. I can get trendy bandana bibs like the one below for £2.64. I just really need ideas on what else to put in the cakes. I'm thinking about steering away from more clothes as will have to put John Lewis ones in and will make the cost even higher. SO thinking about Johnsons products as can get them anywhere. I think will sell a 3 tier at either £70 or £80 but will be giving at least 10% of takings to the charity so need suggested ideas for ingredients for top class cake!

Hi all, I've not got round to making a nappy cake yet
but am preparing (honestly). My friend is due Dec and I can't wait to get stuck in.
Anyway, in Tesco today they had the Johnson's baby bedtime kit reduced to £3.12 (ish - 75% off) in with normal baby toiletries. It contains 3 x bottles (oil, bath and wash) and a towell. Great for separating up for cakes.

becs what about the designers at debenhams range for clothes?? tehy do some uber gorgeous stuff at not so gorgeous prices but it is all gorgeous and very high quality! for toys i would suggest you use lamaze as they are very highly regarded. trying to think of more ideas for you!love you lots like jelly tots0

Thanks for that, hadn't thought about debenhams.
I've contacted a licensed soft toy distributor about opening an account with them so hopefully will hear back soon on that one.

Becs I think Debenhams would probably have what you are looking for. Have you thought about doing a steiff nappy cake. You can get a My 1st Steiff bear in blue, pink and cream. They are expensive at about £18 but will probably appeal to the market you are aiming at.
P.s what about a Mamas & Papas one??Little Miss Chatterbox
