How do you wrap them? Im looking at rolls of celophane and its not wide enough to do in one go?

Any step by step guides from the pros on here? Hehe

Rusty: No worries, Ive tried hunting as well so have PM'd rainmac to see if she can remember. Lol.

Shelley: Have looked back at some of your nappy cakes that you've sold and see you dont wrap them all. Do you find that not all customers want them wrapped?

Im liking the look of mine unwrapped, but have no idea how to present them.

    Ideas ladies?

Where does everyone get the thin cake boards?

I've got a thick one, but they cost £2-odds each, I assume the thin ones would be a bit cheaper.

I find any cake shop does the thin ones, although someone posted a link on here to cheap ones online. Few pages back :)

  • I do wrap mine, I think they look nicer wrapped, I bought a standared roll of cellophane and find it big enough, it is trial and error though, I just make sure there is enough to gather quite a lot up above the top layer of the cake, I hold the four corners before I cut it and then just tuck the spare bits in or sellotape them flat
  • I get thin cake boards fom the local sugar craft shop...over £1 each though so quite expensive

Hi there yes I wrap all my nappy cakes in cellophane with bow, ribbon and an ingredients cards. I don't tend to post pics of them wrapped as you can't really see the cakes but heres one pic:
