I don't know if you have a dunelm mill near you but I went in at the weekend and they had some gorgeous fleece blankets for £1.99. Pink had a bunny on it, blue had a car on and cream just said "baby" I think embroidered on it from what I can remember.

Gawd! I live on the London/Surrey border and we have crap shops! I have traipsed around all over trying to get stuff. The only remote "cheap/discount" stores we have are Wilkinsons and Matalan but they don't all stock the same stuff nationwide, I'm sure.

    Grrrrrrrr.

Thanks for the tips guys, really liking the idea of putting a blanket over the top. How do you attach it?

Do you wrap it around the nappies and then tuck it in in-between the layers of nappies? (does that make sense?)

Do you mean a blanket on the top of the nappies on the bottom tier? I always put a blanket on the bottom layer and secure it with safety pins at the back. Heres a pic:

I was gutted yesterday my new camera would only allow me to take 4 pics and my memory card hasn't arrived in the post yet. The Eeyore pic is with the new camera the duck is with the old. I think the new one is much better using the photo tent.

Here's a pic of my mum helping me in the stall - as you can see the mud was terrible!!!

I noticed the Eeyore was slightly out of focus and a bit blurry ??!!??

    Great stall:):T
Can I just ask how you make the small nappy cakes?

    Thanks

Hiya I use approximately fourteen nappies to make the cupcakes, I put a burping cloth around the nappies and then soft toy on top.

The picture above shows how small they are in comparison to the 2 tier and 3 tier. I found the 3 tier and the cupcakes were the most popular on the stall :D

So you just use the nappys as you would if you were making a 2 or 3 tier then cover with a blanket? Can you add baby items in between the nappys?

I really like the feathers in them.

Thanks Happy - i love using the feathers as a finishing touch . You could add baby items in the cupcakes such as vest or bodysuit but would have to be careful with other items as they may be visible. Although I know some people like to see the baby goods visible I prefer them hidden, though obviously that is personal preference.:D

Sorry Happy I mean the whole thing. I call my little nappy cakes cupcakes because they are smaller than 1 tier cakes.
